Let's see... rollcall: 604Badder, Timeless (Mr & Mrs) Viver ViningWolff Cappy75 Pete LSD WilloW Speed78 (Mr & Mrs) wwcbro WWC unregistered BF guest (lukes but so far have not registered as a BF member) Other BF'ers but in different session includes 15Love, TTT, Badrad (Mr & Mrs). It was fun. VW broke his Forza racquet on a smash off the frame (time to go shopping). For those involved in that "how to make a 'pok' sound", talk to VW. His was "booom!". The die-hards (all BF'ers) were the only left around 1am We enjoyed one of the last few games that wwcbro/viver against vw/cappy. Cappy showed up in a cyclist's top (hoping to attract the ladies??? ) Having not played for almost a month (since my trip down to SF), it was great getting back into it again.
It was a lot of fun - knees decided to pack it in the last game or two, but I sure enjoyed meeting everyone and getting the chance to play so much. Yeah the old SP 9000 gave up the ghost on me. Now to find a couple new bird killing sticks so I can hammer shuttles Cooler's direction. Hope to be out Saturday night again before I fly home Sunday! Cheers Vining
Holy Molly! We started at 9:00 PM and ended at 2:00 AM. The courts are packed with lots of BF'ers. The mods are drooling now.
It was really a nice night of badminton again at VRC. Had good and enjoyable games with everybody. Towards the last few games had trouble moving already since the last time I played was the first Sunday of this month, that is 3 weeks ago. Looking forward for the next meet with the BFers.
Dude, I swear... that size is the largest size I could find in Sport Chek on Boxing week sales. It does fit a little too snug for my taste but good enough for a baddy session. Heck, maybe that'll give me more incentive to lose weight... can't be walking around wearing that shirt and a pronounced beer belly! Ugh! If they are for the ladies, it's certainly not for those in the club cuz they're either too old or too young:crying:. Vining, very glad to be on your side for a change. I just hate to be on the receiving end of your boomers. That two games series with wwcbro/viver was intense... for me! Thanks again for coming out.
Hmmm... that does sound appealing. I believe that the 9O'Clock gang will be there playing until New Years'.
Just to let everyone know. There will be a very intense baddie session on Sunday late afternoon and evening. It will be comprised of folks from Southern California with names such as Joseph (friend of the soon-to-be-opened baddie facility in Southern California) and Jerome (Kwun's friend).
Unfortunately, I was too bushed on Sunday. Four days of continuous baddie took its toll. My knees needed a break.
