VT 50 was nice but...

Right, I'm fairly narrowed down to the N50 III, or the N9. Any opinions on either racket?

The N9 seems solid for smashing, but I've not seen it used for singles, ever. Makes me question the control of the racket a little. The 50-III is tried, tested and true. It's also been tried by numerous players in singles, such as WY, LXR, and Chai Biao. Thoughts?

If you have to choose between the two, go for the N50-3 again. The N9 is basically a little slower N50-3.

I've been using the VT 50 E-Tune for a while, and it was good. I took off the e-tune parts it's becoming, eh. I'm pretty sure they don't weigh enough to do anything, but they just provide extra air resistance, make the frame a bit... bigger, add some air resistance.

I think you've psyched yourself out of this racket. Visualise the math of the entire racket structure and how the grommets would add to the air resistance. It's immeasurably small. You're making up BS excuses coz you want a new racket. :p

I think it makes those edges about as bulky as an armortech frame, so it's fairly significant. Either way I have an n9 now, the 50 will still be in my bag.

In some ways it's a little lucky, they've just increased the price of the 50 et to 110.
