I wear Yonex SH-0607. I can't tell how good it is... My second pair of shoes... I'm kind of ignorant about changes between shoes. >_<

I actually switched from the 99MX to the 100MX (both not the limited version) and I find that the 100MX gives really good support. I feel that my footwork got better because of the added grip and support.

I have just started playing badminton and I was wondering when is the best time to get shoes and about for how much? Currently, my high school PE class is playing badminton right now. I checked out a local badminton club last Monday, and plan on looking at another one in my state next week hopefully (since they play on Thursdays and their rec center is closed on Thanksgiving.) Are there any recommendations on beginners shoes or is better to go all out and buy some shoes that some of the people who have been playing for years have? I really enjoy playing and I plan on joining a club in college and everything too. Any input?

Got a new pair of shoes ... mizuno wavelightning 4. I saw it from a fellow badminton player. I really like the style. I hope he doesn't mind that we have the same shoes.

    Guys,

I found ISS is very good for badminton games as well. I just pick up a pair of Adidas ISS with leather and toe support and found it is more comfortable than Yonex since it is not so narrow and the traction is awesome.
BTW, It is so cheap and you guys can find some decent deal this time in US.
20% OFF + free shipping. Mine is under $40.00
    Hope it helps

I am keen to try these brands. Are they comfortable? How's the cushioning?

That's nice! Same here! Blue or Black ones? Tell me how do you feel inside those shoes? I've only used them twice... I've received them on my last week of badminton training.
