Judging by the logo on the string and the sponsorship to MAS team... its got to be a Gosen. But don't know what series though. vc
Not necessarily - he used a Cab 21 playing against Xia during WC2003 and it had Gosen painted on the strings.
wow, really?? I didn't expect Gosen will be that generous and allow who they sponsored to have use their competitor's product. Thanks for telling me that! vc
agree. as far as we know, WCH has always used the cab21 with Gosen logo painted on the string. the question now is, what is that racket on the picture? i am thinking that it could've been a cab21 with a black grip wrapped over the cone thus the normal color of the cab21 isn't showing up...
The overall shape is still like Cab 21. Would it be the lighting effect and made the racket looks darker??
It looks more like a Cab20 Power. The cone, partially revealed is dark in colour. Also, the shaft have too many wordings on it, making it too talkative.
By looking at the pic.....it doesn't look like a new racquet, so it might be some racquets that are even older than Cab21?? We need more pics.....this pic's angle is not clear.
It could also be a Gosen as there is a faint golden line-the Gosen 2-kick point is marked with 2 such lines near the throat-in WCH's racquet, which appears to have the shaft compressed a bit because of the lens' telephoto effect.
100% confirm that Wong CH using a Gosen racquet. But anyway no matter what badminton racquet he is using, Wong CH is a hopeless player. Totally HOPELESS.
If you win you are feted like a hero; if you lose you are a villain. In crucial matches players tread a very fine line; they can win or they can lose, but one gets the trophy the other the boot; there is nothing in between. How unfair can you get. Just watch out for the unfolding events of the coming final between China and Indonesia. Taufit could be the key actor in this drama should he be called upon to play a crucial game. If he wins a crucial match, his head will get bigger and he will up his antre for more special treatment. If he loses, he might very well be skewered alive by the crowd.
he is not hopeless.. just that its not his day. And his opponent played better than him last night. Anyway you win some , you lose some.. just hapen he lost yesterday. Thats life.. we have to move on and keep supporting Malaysia!
ants, I agreed with you. From my point of view, he is a person that cannot stand much pressure. Everytime Malaysia need him to win then he will lose. The last Thomas Cup also the same. A part from that, I noticed that he very very seldom win any competition. Everytime reach Semi Final or Quarter Final then lose to some stupid and lousy player at that stage. I think Malaysia will suffer for the next Thomas Cup because most of the players are quite old already. Furthermore, all the young players are totally HOPELESS. Start from today onward, I hope that all the Malaysia’s newspaper can stop talking about how good is our badminton players. Stop to be proud about Malaysia’s badminton. It is getting worst and worst.
I suppose, it's still his good ol' Cab-21. If you compare with older pics (badmintonphoto.com), you'll find out, that the Cab-21 always tends to appear darker on photos than in nature.
