Where to Play in Pune??

I will be in Pune, Magarpatta area, from the 8th of September and am looking for places to play around that area.

I like your passion for badminton and I believe I have the same too.
I am quite frustrated having looked for a facility to play near Hadapsar / Magarpatta area. I am in the process of relocating to Pune and have been looking around that area for indoor courts but with no luck.
I am prepared to work with you on this plan of constructing our own indoor courts. Please email me any plans you already have at raajeshvaradarajan@gmail.com
PS - I have done my LEVEL 1 coaching course in the UK and am qualified to teach beginners and intermediate level players.

Welcome to Pune
Unfortunately we dont have any good indoor courts near Magarpatta ! but we do have few within 7/10 kms range
1. Amanora - Pawar Public School - opp to Magarpatta but the court is not as good as you think
2. Camp - alpa Bachat bhavan
3. swargate
4. MG Road - Poona club

I checked at Amanora unfortunately only residents are allowed to play there. Have not checked at Pawar public school. Will try out the other ones you've suggested.

I stay on sinhgad road. I am looking for a group to play badminton in kothrud\karve nagar\sinhgad road\warje area.

I am living in Balewadi and I am looking to join any group to play badminton on week days as well as weekend (preferably doubles).
 
Regarding Balewadi Pune Badminton court info.

At Balewadi Pune Please find below information.I was there yeasterday(3 Feb 2014)
For personal (Badminton ) montly for one hr/ person they used to charge 750 Rs(Presently waiting list going on).Same thing applicable for Swimming also.

For conducting tournaments they used to charge 2000 (Two thousand) per hour per court.Its very expensive.

hi.... I am karan chhabra from lonavala........... I will be coming to kharadi pune from 20th of april till 7th of may...... I was interested in some training for these 15-20 days....... as I will be coming from lonavala..... travelling would be a problem......... so anywhere near station or camp would do....... please help me out....... thanks In advance..... :D

Hi Karan,
As a badminton enthu person, I have very good tutorial from basic to very advanced level videos which I have collected for different websites from last 2-3 years.If you want I can share those with you(without any cost means free).You just need to provide a minimum 8 GB pen drive. if possible you can share your email id or phone no.

Folks - Any good places to play badminton around Magarpatta? I can play fairly well and looking for a group which can be regular.

I like your enthusiasm and understand the frustration as i am facing the same due to huge difference in supply and demand of Badminton courts. Specially in South Pune, we can hardly find any court and the courts available are not up to the standards.
I am very much interested in your plan and would like to support you in any way possible.

I know that this is not a tread where I should mention the place where to purchase badminton releated stuff at Pune but still mentioning here.
Maharastra sales corp,+(91)-(20)-24475686, 32910308 ,972, NR Shukrawar Peth Police Station, Budhwar Peth, Pune - is nice one as compare to most of the sports shop.It is whole sale shop.But my experience says, Sameer Bagwat is one of the best person to purchase anything releated with Badminton.Again Sameer is one of the best badminton player from Maharastra also.You can find him at Modern complex Pune while coaching badminton player.His contact no is 9822777201.
