Hi All, I am an intermediate player. I've been using Muscle Power 29 Lite racquet with the original strings that it came with for the past year. I have found it has lost some tension with the time I have used it. I am looking for a new string, that has a good power, durability and control. But I confuse between the Ultimax BG66, Nanogy 99 and Titanium BG 65. Can you review which one is better for me and at what tension. My main criteria are repulsion, control, durability and medium-soft feel. I would really appreciate your help. Thank you.
I'm afraid you can't have everything... BG66UM = very good repulsion and good control, bad durability NG99 = very good control, durability and repulsion ok BG65Ti = best durability, but worse repulsion and control It stays an individual thing and the tension as well. My suggestion: feather: BG66UM 22-24lbs plastic: BG65Ti 22-24lbs
I moved from bg65ti to ngy99 in my Astrox 7 @24lbs had better shuttle control. Same with my 88D. Now play with Bg80 on 88D. For me felt 65ti was losing tension rather quickly and to be restrung quite often about once a month. Other two strings lasted more than 2 months before I had to string again.
