Who will be Men's Doubles Champion?

Yeah.. i'm going to anticipate a REAL NOISY STADIUM!
Then I can tell you, I only wish I could make this flight to savour the moment of pure energy and excitement in the stadium,...I had planned this trip for 2 years, being a MAS boy myself to see the games and visit my mom, etc, only to cancel at the last moment due to conflict with schedules...as the games get closer and I am in my office, checking on livescoring, that would eat me up.....darn you guys are so lucky.

Robin7, the tournament has not even begin...why don't you proclaim KKK/TBH new MD WC after they won it...control your excitement and emotion, you may be setting yourself to ticking a big foot in your mouth if they lost...;)
They are not pressured at all.
Okok... I'm over-excited & a bit out of control!:p I hope they know how to handle pressure!

I apologise if what I said sounds arrogant & humiliating to some of the Malaysians. For the time being, I'll just keep my mouth shut till the WC starts.

U dont have to apology,Robin.
Malaysians are very confidence with their players and theres nothing wrong with that.We do not create troubles for anybody.
Im sorry for not defending ur posts when they give the critises.

Just watching the repeat of MD SF in SO07 .. CW/TG plays a great match against FHY.CY. they are simply amazing ! Some of Tony nets shot toying the Chinese around the court, their understanding within each others was excellent.. Covering from the front to the back of the courts..
They are the more experience pair compare with any others Seeds in this WC. They have been winning OG. WC(in a separate partnership). They are superb especially in the big events

But their prime is long past, CY/FHF and KKK/TBH are the top two pairs to watch out for in this year's WC.

Thanks, koo_fan. In fact, I didn't have to apologise but I did it just to shut some hypocrites' mouths here.

Yeah, their power don't really sting now... While KKK/TBH and FHF/CY still got a lot of power... CW/TG can only rely on strategy and tricks, and maybe some stinging shots..

They might be not as fast & powerful as the CHN & MAS hot sensation. But in doubles, experince does matter as in the understanding among each others will be the main keys to success.
I wouldn't be surprise if they make it into the finals.;)

INDONESIA’s chief coach Christian Hadinata sees the current scoring system favouring the younger pairs.
Among the veterans who are probably taking a last shot at winning the world title are Danes Jens Eriksen-Martin Lundgaard Hansen and Jonas Rasmussen-Lars Paaske, the American-Indonesian combination of Tony Gunawan-Candra Wijaya and Malaysians Choong Tan Fook-Lee Wan Wah.
“A point can now be gained on not holding service and the doubles game is all about speed and power. The younger pairs have the better chance to win,” said Christian.
He picked the top two seeds – China’s Fu Haifeng-Cai Yun and Malaysia’s Koo Kien Keat-Tan Boon Heong – as his favourites for the title.
“Both pairs have been the outstanding performers in the Super Series thus far. The older pairs can still fight but the question is whether they can cope with the pace and power,” he added.
Kien Keat-Boon Heong were outstanding in the early part of the year and the Chinese have stepped into the limelight over the last three months. The Malaysians won the Open titles of Malaysia, England and Switzerland while the Chinese emerged as champions in the Singapore and Indonesian Opens and the China Masters.
Christian hopes that the Indonesian top pair of Markis Kido-Hendra Setiawan can make a strong charge for the title.
“If they can be consistent from the start, I think our pair have a chance,” said Christian, who has two world titles to his name – in 1980 with Ade Chandra in the men’s doubles and with Imelda Wigoeno in the mixed doubles.
On what he hoped to achieve with the Indonesian team this time, Christian said that it would be great if they could repeat their performance in Anaheim two years ago.
Then, Taufik Hidayat emerged as the men’s singles champion and Lilyana Natsir-Nova Widianto took the mixed doubles title. Indonesia finished empty-handed in last year’s championships in Madrid. In this edition, Indonesia can also bank on their women’s doubles pair of Greysia Polli-Jo Novita to rise to the occasion.
