wonder if bwf will force Kido to make an appearance in London or otherwise face a 5000 USD fine.

This is not a (Premier) Super Series event, I don't know if the appearance rule applies here ... And do you really want someone with a typhoid disease showing up :D

[and they were in the top half]

Well if there is such rule and they have to abide by it,

It's sad to say they are not just required to show up but to play...

Even if it requires someone to mob the drippings after every point :D

I've gone for Boe & Moegensen, toss up between them and CY and FH- but I feel that they may be able to push them out this time around!

JJS/LYD have youth, power, and they gel so well!
The others are mostly over the hill, or will be before the final day. :D

I think KKK/TBH both are younger than JJS (and Ko.Yoo). Even Kido/Setiawan are both younger ;) And Fu Haifeng!

:crying::crying::crying: I'm still unable change my vote for Mohammad Ahsan & Bona Septano [INA], now that Markis Kido & Hendra Setiawan [INA] have withdrawn.

Quite surprised that Ahsan/Bona who never won major title or Super Series title got 5 votes + 1 from chris.

    MK/HS withdrawn

    .
You must have gone missing from BC for a few days. This news was out since Friday 05-Aug-2011.

Yes, poor MK cannot participate (to play). He can only watch (like us BCers). :D:D:D

As I predicted Boe/Mogensen are history. But full credit to Bona/Ahsan for the deserved victory in the QF

Bona/Ahsan and Ko/Yoo only get 3.31% and 1.32% of total voters respectively, but both are on semifinal.

After Markis Kido & Hendra Setiawan had withdrawn, I wanted to vote for Mohammad Ahsan & Bona Septano, but couldn't. I am sure there are many other BCers like me, wishing to change our votes. ;););)
