Will CHN dominance end here in WC07

Let me define "dominance" here: if CHN wins anything less than 3 golds, then its dominance ends. Anyway, CHN normally performs well in big occasions, let's wait & see.:)

Btw, any ideas when will the draws be released?

I'm just wondering if TH is at the same half with LD or LCW.

I'm wondering if TH is going to show up at all. By all means, he should (even if it might lessen LCW's chances). In WC, the real top players (based on talent, not ranking) must participate.

Linus, Gao Ling's abilities and consistency are a given, to most of us, there is no need to mention that anymore .... until another Ra Kyung Min comes to challenge, she stands alone.

WC is only held once a year... Its still has prestigous.. While Superseries results often are predictable... Except on CM.. the super wacha stunt evy 1 there !! While WC we seldom saw any players come up on top from nowhere...
Probably the ever exciting Tony/Howard frm US is an exception...

XBall, slight and full, what does it matter, still lantern jaw...I actually laugh when you said "lantern" jaw...what a way to describe, hahaha!! it is dangerous, you know, if you are riding a motobike and GL is at the back, her lantern jaw will bruise your back...hahaha!!!:D:p
 
Since when this thread turned into "Discussion on Gao Ling's Smile"?:confused:

Anyway, to me, Gao Ling is the female version of Park Joo Bong. She can partner with anyone & win titles. She is a great player on court & a nice person off court. I always see her smiling whether losing or winning. Maybe Maria Sharapova should learn from her.:p

Seeing GL winning a double both in WD & XD is great. But I also want other countries esp. ENG & INA to step up & give it a good fight.:)

As far as MAS is concerned, I really want badly LCW & KKK/TBH to give their best & win Malaysia the first World Champion. A double would be the best!:)

Looks like this WC has turned into the battle between CHN & the rest of the world. Anyway, the best players should prevail.:cool:

the biggest challenge for china team is the malaysian fans.
LD failed twice in malayisan open. I only hope for fair line judging:D

Line judging has always been the issue in any tournaments but I just hope that it can be minimised this time round!:D

I just read from China Press: LYB stated that the passing mark for the coming WC is 3 golds & rated MD & XD as the favorites besides WS.:rolleyes:

Besides, I also found out the worst outing for CHN was 1 gold each in 1993 & 1995 thru Nong Kuanhus and Zhou Lai in WD & Ye Zhaoying in WS respectively.

According to the definition about dominance, I guess CHN will grab 3 titles through XD-WD-WS. 2 other fields, MS and MD will be opened for any participant but host-fave LCW plus KKK/TBH are the front-runners in my mind.

From BWF website, drawing will be held on 03 August 2007 based on latest World Ranking (02 August 2007) to determine seeds.

Hmm, doubtly whether TH will attend this year WC or not. Looks like TH often makes us wondering...

As far as top seeds are concerned, it's unlucky to be at the same half with TH. Why?

During MO07, LD beat TH in 1st round but was beaten in 2nd round. LCW beat TH in QF but was beaten in SF in CM07. Looks like whoever beats TH will be beaten in the following round. It must take a lot mentally as well as physically from someone to beat TH. It's interesting!:D

Nay, the real battle will between MAS supporters and INA supporters, and possibly CHN supporters too. :D

But don't worry, there won't be any fireworks, all done in good spirit .....
