So, 100% record for Team INA in the past two days (unlike our distant neighbour of course hehehe :D), however, things could change tomorrow. I foresee at least one casualty from the WS.

Here's a preview of all the matches involving Indonesian players tomorrow:
9:20am Rani Mundiasti/Endang Nurgianti vs Carina Mette/Birgit Overzier -- a tricky tie, but, Rani/Endang should progress.

10:20am Mohd Rijal/Greysia Polii vs Tan Bin Shen/Ooi Yu Hang -- could be tricky too, but, Greysia's experience should prove vital.

11:10am Hendra A. Gunawan/Joko Riyadi vs Rupesh Kumar/Thomas Sanave -- AG/Joko did not have a chance to test the court today and tomorrow's first match for them will be quite a tough one. Kumar/Sanave is quite an experienced pair and Kido/Hendra found them to be a handful during the two encounters at the Asian Games last year. This could go to rubber-sets.

11:15am Simon Santoso vs Pablo Abian -- this match should be easier than today's titanic struggle against Nguyen Tien-Minh.

12:30pm Flandy Limpele/Vita Marissa vs Robin Middleton/Liza Parker -- should be a straight-forward victory for the 8th seed.

1:00pm Taufik Hidayat vs Anup Sridhar -- tricky, but manageable for badminton's "bad boy".

1:15pm Tony Gunawan/Candra Wijaya vs Glenn Warfe/Ross Smith -- the veteran pair will take this one comfortably.

1:40pm Adriyanti Firdasari vs Xu Huaiwen -- Firda will face a severe test tomorrow and it will be an upset if she can beat the experienced German player.

4:20pm Jo Novita/Greysia Polii vsJiang Yanmei/Li Yujia -- the match of the day involving INA's players. The seeded Singapore pair holds a slight edge, but, the INA pair has gained confidence lately, esp after beating the Chinese pair. I hope they can win.

4:25pm Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir vs Nicholas Jinadasa/Samantha Jinadasa -- should also be a breeze for the former World Champion.

5:05pm Sony Dwi Kuncoro vs Yousuke Nakanishi -- on paper, Sony should win, but, his condition could pose a problem for him. Still, he should progress.

6:20pm Maria Kristin Yulianti vs Julia Wong Pei Xian -- also a contender for the match of the round...a very tough match for Maria. But, she's more experienced than Julia, so, I still see her winning this match.

    8:25pm Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan vs Ales Murn/Miha Horvat -- no contest..enough said.

9:50pm Luluk Hadiyanto/Alvent Yulianto vs Naoki Kawamae/Keishi Kawaguchi -- Luluk/Alvent have been improving lately and I expect at least a QF placing in the WC.

Indian Shuttlers in action tomorrow -

Anup Sridhar vs Taufik Hidayat - AS has the game to get it past TH. He needs to attack early and suprise TH before TH gets into stride. If this goes into dead rubber TH will be favorite

Saina Nehwal vs Juliane Schenk - litmus test for SN. she has not lived up to her potential but has a chance agian, she had a good Sudirman Cup winning games against European opposition

Both AS and SN's matches will be defined by the way the first games go..

R Kumar / S Thomas vs Gunawan/Riyadi - again the indian pair has a chance, consistency throughout the match and ability to finish of chances will hold key

Was disappointing to see Chetan Anand lose specially after taking the first game and being in touch with Sony Dwi in the 3rd game

Agree with all except that Julia, with the home crowd behind her, could pull off a win. Firda will face a severe test tomrrow?? More like Firda is going to be barbequed by Xu :D:D

Anup shridar is a decent player, but if Taufik gives 100% i cant see the indian even stand a chance at all.

Here is my picks for couple of exciting match to be watch in the Round of 32 today :

    1. Shoji Sato vs Lee Hyun Ii
    - LHI having a tough games in first round. Shoji defense looks solid. A 50-50 match and likely to be ended in 3 games. LHi holds a slighly advantages here with his stamina & overall skills..

    2. LOGOSZ/MATUESIAK vs Anthony Clark/ Rober Blair.
    - The English pair was in excellent form yesterday. But the POLISH pair with so credits results in a couple of SS. Will not be the pushover. AC/RB can move on from here if they able to sustain as 1st round performance

    3. GZD/XZB vs MZL/MTF
    - Could be the most intriguing match of this rounds! Chinese hold the edge over the MAS here with their exposure in the court/drift conditions. I am sure LYB will direct his charges the way to beat the MAS. MZL/MTF must play and attacking games from the start instead of depending too much on their solid defensive games.

    4. Chen Jin vs Roslin Hashim M.
    - Hard to predict on this one. The MAS supporters will be 100% focus for cheering Roslin. If MAS able to hold off from the Chinese smashed & controlling in the long rallies. He did stand a chance. A 60% - 40% in favour of the Chinese here.

    5. Lee Tsuen Seng vs Bao CL
    - if LTS play as his first set in yesterday. He have no chance at all. However, BCL seems always not performing well in big tournaments. He is weak mentally. MAS only hopes is the crowds pressure will let BCL off the hook.

Barring any last minutes injured. ALL the seeded players in MS & MD should be stroll pass this round. The real challenge only will be seen at Round of 16.
