    Some late jitters...nevertheless...the INA no 1 pair Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan has finally beaten their senior Tony Gunawan/Candra Wijaya once....taking the match 21-12, 21-19. They will take on Choong Tan Fook/Lee Wan Wah in the SF tomorrow. I hope the match will be like last year's....short and easy for Kido/Hendra :D

    I think so, they let the younger become the world champion, the title that they got and felt already long time ago......

    I do appreciate them all...

    "Let" them win? That will be an understatement :cool: There is no such thing in INA. Anyway, Tony and Candra are out of Pelatnas and are playing for their own glory...so...no team order (unlike Team China).

    if CTF LWW can win today, they can win tomorrow... MK HS is no match for CY FHF... i think tomorrow it will be like today's first MD match, and going malaysia's way...

    I can understand why Kido/Setiawan won easily but Wang Chen over Pi Hongyan handily too? Are they from the same province in China? I like to see Wang Chen advance and face the Chinese Army as she has a lot "@#$!" to stick to Li Yongbo.

    At least now we in a huge relief of not seeing 2 veterans fighting among each other in a slow pace match :p

    BTW...I don't think Tony and Candra have won this WC as a pair :cool:
    Candra won the WC with Sigit in 1997, while Tony won it with Halim in 2001.

    Tony/Candra were paired only for a bried period of time, during which they won the Olympics Gold in 2000 as Sigit was suspended. After Sigit returned, PBSI split this pair up. Candra went on to win the AE 2001 with Sigit, while Tony won the WC in Sevilla with his new partner (Halim Heryanto).

    It seems that we have only asian players in all semifinal match tommorow... The world championships is now rather similar to the Asian Badminton Championships... the venue is also in Asia.... It's more than complete now...
