So many good matches in this QF, after all it's WC, it is so hard to pick which one is most exciting.....

    But i'll give a hint :

Lin Dan v Park Sung Hwan

    Taufik v Lee Chong Wei

    Kido/Hendra v Fang C M/Lee S M

Our potential "giant killer" : Eriko Hirose v Wang Lin

    Revenge mission on the card : Koo/Tan v JJS/LYD

    Nova/Lily v ZB/MJ

I just wondering, which TV court will be broadcast......Because it looks heavily even interesting.....

It is just funny when i read at Badzine about LYD's loss due to recent elbow injury...they have to give Taipeh XD credit.
I did ask Ahn Jae Chang baout that when they lost to Tontowi/Natsir at Taipeh Opeh..and Ahn Jae Chang said it is okay now as they beat KKK/TBH...

again..Paris is not safe city...worse than other cities in term of security..
one of Thailand's luggage is being forced and they are able to spend 2000 Euro on credit card in mere 90 minutes...( LV wallet is gone too)
Malaysian team also lost something...Asep ( Thien Minh's coach) mentioned that a player just lost laptop in the hotel....they suspect it is insider's job...but been told the Liason Officers did warn them about this.

..the BC jinx has been put on hold, for now, but i have a strong feeling it'll start tomorrow..
And the INA squad could lose all of their representatives by tomorrow (QF Rd.) as well..

Best matches for tomorrow (all on TV-1 court), imo:
    WSX vs. Saina
    INA vs. CHN XD
    DEN vs. KOR XD
    KOR vs. MAS MD
INA vs. TPE MD (that should be a cracker)
    Tine vs. CSC
LCW vs. Taufik (but it could end in straight games)
CHN vs. JPN WD (known for their resiliency, i won't be surprised if the JPN WD pulls one out)..

They should've switched either the Eriko vs. Wang Lin or CY & FHF vs. MB & CM match to TV-1 court and replace the Yamada vs. Gade match..I know they want to show their hometown heroine Lady Pi vs. Wang Xin match..

incredible performance and breath of the TPE team. only team aside from CHN who still have a contender in each of the 5 categories.

    TPE : 5 (MS=1; WS=1; MD=1; WD=1; XD=1)

I can see new powerhouse of badminton is emerging.

In the future, it will be CHN, KOR, DEN, INA, JPN, TPE and IND who will be the nations to watch. I think IND will take over MAS pretty soon except MAS MD department of course. Sorry MAS, although I love to support you guys in international tournament, but I really think that you guys are in such a bad shape(essentially a one man team[LCW] with decent MD) I don't wanna fathom what is going to happen in the future.

Hopefully with the newly form management in BAM, you guys can go further.

If Thailand has manage her players well, it will be interesting to see what they can achieve in 3-4 years time. They have the reigning Youth Olympians and WJC in WS afterall.

Match predictions (please DON'T use it as your PAW guideline :D:p) :

    XD
    ZB/MJ over Nova/Butet (again!)
Layborn/Juhl over HHB/YY (Euro crowd carries the Danes home)
Ko/Ha over Diju/Gutta (the only Koreans left standing)
Tao/Zhang over Lee/Chien (close one but possible upset)

    WS
Tine over CSC (fresh Tine finally vanquish tired Cheng)
WSX over Saina (titanic battle that could go either way)
WL over Eriko (Eriko sweetie, savour your win over WYH)
    WX over Pi (destruction awaits)

    MD
    KKK/TBH over JJS/LYD (finally!)
Guo/Xu over old DEN uncles (age finally catches up)
Lee/Fang over Markis/Hendra (move over, there's a new kid on the block)
Fu/Cai over Boe/Mogensen (who can deny them when they're in such irresistible form)

    MS
LCW over Taufik (LCW recent domination of TH to continue)
PG over Yamada (PG handed a kind path to SF)
CJ over Hsueh (CJ handed a kind path to SF)
LD over PSH (hope to see nasty eye gouging, name calling and chair throwing)

    WD
Cheng/Zhao over Miyuki/Suetsana (too much power)
    Ma/Wang over Kim/Ha (they're on a mission)
Du/Yu over Pan/Tian (bow to the boss' wishes)
Cheng/Chien over Hyun/Jung (the TPE roll continues)

So after the QF, predicted survivors by nationality:
    CHN: 12
    DEN: 3
    TPE: 2
    MAS: 2
    KOR: 1

There's no air conditioning in the hall....at all. I think is the same across the Europe(at least in UK), no one ever install air-condition in a gym hall. At least, I haven't seen one yet after so many years living in UK.

I see that for many the Pi-Wang match should be put on tv-2, or that 'destruction await'. I hope you guys are wrong, though I'm a Wang Xin fan. But that is the last WC for Pi, and before her public, so I hope for a rubber game at least. It depends, in 07 AE Pi did beat ZN after all (to be crashed by XXF in the final though).

Yeah, would be nice for Pi to play a blinder in front of the home fans. Unfortunately '07 Pi is not '10 Pi. Soooooo.... destruction awaits.

what a treat for tomorrow. 5 events, 4 matches each. 20 matches today. i think 17 to 18 of those matches i would consider exciting.
