And the Thai WD pair Amitapai/Munkit (#13) lost the 1st game, so they are in danger of being the first women's seed to be eliminated.

The Scots don't disappoint and dispatch Amitapai/Munkit 21-15 in the rubber.

The Thais are the first women's seed to be knocked out, along with two on the men's side

[IMG] Must've been the first time they've seen a croatian lady  Much to learn :p * Dobro jutro *

Scots through :), french player Matthieu Lo Ying Ping out perhaps surprisingly for some and based on the PAW odds should have picked it. Meulendijks out . French MD out against South Africans by the look of SA'ns in the pics probably overpowered ...

Yes, thats what i am saying...........if still wanted to play professionally, need to put in efforts to train hard, take care of body weight.........not just play to lose, wasted others chances to play in WC....

Frankly, at that age, there is nothing the body could do to hold high pace. If I were to blame them, it would only be due to their old disease of letting opponents back into the game. The other pairs as you said should have been given chances to play, did not qualify and therefore deserve even less chance than the Uncles. At least the Uncles fought reasonably, given their limitations.

But I am very impressed with the Germans. Not so stylish, fast or strong in any area, but they are very quick in transition from defence into attack. As soon as they wrest initiative, they applied more pace that left the uncles gasping thin air.

Yes, Abedeng the Germans were impressive but......

Players like those uncles players from Denmark are examples, still winning All England with that age....around 33 to 37 y/o.

Its good to know CTF is quiting to do coaching in HK.........Wish him luck.

I mean 'others' not necessary from MAS.........

CTF approch and body language was very poor (try to play like KKK) and leaving LWW do all the hardwork.

Totally disappointing, thought that CTF/LWW wanted to end it with a big bang but NO! They just go off and lose to the German pair.
Even Fuzzy would have done better.
