It a bit unfair isn't it? Cai/Fu already won 2 title this year. And they at least reach QF or better this year except at All England.

I don't even know that there are any MD pair who had not lost this year. Even Jens/Martin and Chandra/Tony lost in a tournament this year.

The Chines pull it off, caoming from behind in the second game, 21-11, 22-20.
    Du/Yu hammering the JAP 11-3

Another Chinese WD pair on court now v the MAS pair. Last chance for a non-CHN pair to advance.

But he will be banned after the WC? So no chance for the Asian games.

anyway, I think he lost because he is not fit enough. He cannot speed up at crucial moments. CH played wonderfully in the 2nd and 3rd sets.

Du/Yu's playing style is extremely ugly. No moving opponents around or delicate placements. Just smash and smash. They have no chance to reach the level of Gao/Huang.

We all knew that if CH managed to drag TH into the 3rd set, a degree of parity would set in. And in the end, TH's lack of stamina was his undoing. This is the beest CH has played under the 21 point system. Mind you he could face problems against faster players.

I guess as long as you get the job done, style points don't count.

Why Zhang Ning vs Wong MC is the last one? The last one and first one should be reserved for players playing two events. Such as Xie ZB, Zhang YW, so they can get enough rest. Whie Zhang Ning is the number 1 MS, she should not play when all the spectators are already gone.
