Don't worry, Taufik is very experienced in coming up with some lame excuses. If not, his diehard fans will make some up for him. There's always the "See you in the NEXT world championshps!" and the next and the next.
The English pair Anthony Clark/Robert Blair finally won the match 19-21, 21-13, 21-18. Let's hope Kido/Hendra can do the job tomorrow. The Chinese pair is running away with the match, leading 18-11.
The Koreans MD are loosing too quickly. Damn I'm hoping that they'll at least take 1 set from the Danes. The Danes are already quite old, stretching them to 3 sets will be good for their next opponent. Damn.
I wonder whether Taufik will retire if he is banned 6 month? What's the point staying in the circuit anyway. He is not motivated anymore.
Wow JR/LP are back! They are leading now against LYD/JJS with 21-18,13-7. Could there be another fall seeded pair? I think so.
I am disappointed with Nova/Butet's loss...but not so for Taufik as I don't have much expectation in him. However, Kido/Hendra have given some hopes for INA. Let's hope they continue to do so in the next 3 matches. They should be the favorite in tomorrow's match against Anthony Clark/Robert Blair, esp after the English was pushed to rubber-sets today. From semi-final onwards, it will have to depend on mental attitude and some kinda luck (like today )
with all due respects, don't expect too much... it is Zhang Ning on the other side of the net afterall...
The Koreans are only superior against Malaysians....but even this pair has lost to Kido/Hendra twice this year! The same goes for Mohd Tazari/Lin and Paaske/Rasmussen. So, Kido/Hendra do have the chance to go all the way to the Final.
Yesss, JR/LP wiping the floor with the KOR pair 19-10. Looks like a date with the young, explosive MAS pair in the QF
if JR/LP are motivated they are among the top 3 inthe world imo. This is due to a lot of things. Jonas is very sharp at the net and if hes motivated he gains that extra which makes his trick shots sharper and lessens his unforced errors. Lars is more an allround player that plays the easy shots and is the stable guy where Jonas is the one who makes the surprises on the front of the court. A very dangerous cocktail
