yes... its the WC, not the malaysian open anyway.. the tourney itself makes a huge difference, not only the place it is played

Don't be a dreadful fan. Why don't you describe how ctf/lww came from 16 down to reel off 5 straight points to defeat fu/cai,defending world champion? Why did MAS MD lose to INA MD? The answer is simple. INA crowd support quality superior to MAS home crowd.

    Look at this comparison:

    1) Taufik beat PG then LCW to go to the final to face LD in the final (2005)
Sony beat LCW then PG to go to the final to face LD (2007). Is this a premonition?

    2) MD, the rise of unexpected pair of Tony/Howard (2005)
MD, the rise of Japanese pair (2007)
Won't that be really weird if the Japanese pair actually goes on to the final and win the WC???

As long as Markis Kido/Hendra Setiawan do not let their guard down tomorrow, they should take it. I would be more than happy if they are the only one winning.

As for Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir, only a miracle or an injury to Gao Ling will prevent the dynamic Zheng Bo/Gao Ling to claim the title.

Similarly, despite's Sony Dwi Kuncoro's gallant effort in this World Championships, I don't see him beating Lin Dan.

In the WS, Wang Chen should reign supreme to bring glory to HKSAR. Somehow, she's playing better and better in the last 2 years....claiming an Asian Games Gold last year, perhaps World Championships this year and the Olympics next year in Beijing so that she can retire gloriously next year?

As for WD, who cares which pair win

pretty confident that they will... especially LCW & KKK-TBH
WMC can be better (and fully recover from her injury)
LWW-CTF are really at their peak already, unlikely to improve much

    technically, HK is still China.
but anyway, im highly doubtful that Wang Chen can win a gold medal in beijing...
    but who knows, she might
