congrates to china waiting uncle gemini12 to comment and waiting the individual livescore, anyone? well done for mas, advance in to historical final^^ it itself already an acheivement^^
Came back quite late yesterday. It was a well organised final and the sultan of Kedah grace the occasion. The crowd here are very supportive even though Malaysia Team are down. Its a great feeling of unity. The Sultan and the Sultanah are very supportive. The Chinese walked in looking very confident and sure. This time their team comprise of very tall players and they really do look impressive in white tracksuit. The Malaysian Team walked in looking very serious and tense. XD- disasterous from the start. Hui Ern and Yao Han could not get their game going in the first set and 80% of the game goes to mistake. 2nd game was better but the chinese are better. They capitalise on our weakness and read their game. This point is hard to win. BS-Shawal the replacement of Iskandar did all he could. U have to admire Shawal for trying to outwit China. well alotof floor mobbing for syawal in this match while he tries to catch his breath. Shawal could not closed the 2nd set to our disappointment but i would said he had done his best. good fighting spirit. BD- Yao Han was stiff and slower compared to Kah Meng. Kah Meng shows alot of his talent in ball strategy and placing. We could have won if less mistake is committed in this game. I would said that Kah Meng shows more composure and he is skillful and have good ball sense here. Overall.. even though we put up a good team. Its is not enough to win as China have one goal- they are here with a mission that is to bring back cup. My assessment is that China still have a slight edge over the Malaysian.
Individual will starts 2moro. It is difficult to assess our ability for medal as all depend on the draw. If draw are favourable- we may have a chance in medal but not neccessary gold. Malaysia are targeting 2 gold- BS and BD. BS- Iskandar, Shawal, Zulfadli and Misbun Ramdan Our 4some- very close friends. Spirit are high. May have a chance of medal. Could be a gold if all goes well. GS- Tee JingYi, Sonia, Li Lian and Flora Well- this is difficult to assess. Tee could breakthru if she keep her form. Hopefully a medal for this. BD- Malaysian Hopeful- Medal contention GD- this look real difficult but u never know. XD- chance for a bronze if draw is kind. Lets hope that we do better than the last few years and with the absence of Korean we may have better chance of medal. Keep finger cross for a good draw.Players wish u all the best
my prediction will be done when the draw is out hope my 10000th post will bring good luck to malaysian player all the best^^

The final standing of team event : 1) China 2) Malaysia 3) Thailand 4) Chinese Taipei 5) Indonesia (move up 2 rungs) 6) Japan 7) India 8) Hongkong 9) Denmark 10) Philippines 11) Russia 12) Singapore 13) Vietnam 14) England 15) France 16) New Zealand 17) Germany 18) Canada 19) Macau 20) Srilanka 21) Australia
If INA were not in the same pool with China, we could have been ranked number 3... I'm pretty sure we can beat Thailand and Chinese Taipei... INA can even trouble MAS and grab that #2 spot...
