He should... because he is the top Chinese junior. People like LinDan, ChenJin and other Chinese singles players have won the Asian Junior Championships before and they're all in the China Senior team... Well, I hope he does anyway.
Hey nobody posts Arif's result. The sole MAS BS survivor Arif Latif bt Kim Sa Rang 21-17, 21-18 Happy!!
how did Gade & KJ do in the age groups???? I heard that european players tend to develop and peak later than asian badminton players (in general) they last longer also. So WJC not a very good indicator based on european trend.
Omg. Tan Wee Kiong/Woon Khe Weo lost to Korean pair 12-21, 21-16, 21-9 21-9..?? Injured? Ran out of steam?
a good day for INA players....tomorrow is tougher as some will meet Chinese players..Good luck and fight hard to INA players.....
a dissapointing result for the top seeded MAS XD pair, i thought their international exposure would translate into better results.
INA is still doing very very well... We have so many representatives in the quarterfinals tmrw... Pia and Febe in GS Arif and Adi in BS Debby-Richi and Reni-Krissabella in GD Wifqi-Alfiat in BD Ulinuha-Richi and lastly Alfiat-Debby in XD; Alfiat-Debby just defeated the Singaporean #6 seed a few minutes ago... Earlier in the tournament, INA had to accept national disasters [loosing to Singapore and finishing 6 or something in the team event]. Now, in the individual event, apparently, we are not in such a bad shape after all... with so many players left in the last 8... Then our Juniors are not that far behind the other countries laaah... [9 out of 20 matches = 45% of the matches tomorrow involve INA Juniors...]
from what i see...chris adcock of england seems like quite a good player...from his records...european junior champ in MD with marcus ellis....quite a good future there...just beat the CHN pair in MXD...anyone seen him play? Any thoughts?
Tago strikes a~gain: you make my heart SIN~k Tago Kenichi has done it again! The man who denied Senior Ronald Susilo in the final of the Div. 2 playoff in the SC, gave no chance to SIN Junior poster boy Ashton Chen. The match took only 32mins in favor of Tago 21-13, 21-12. How ironic:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:
I am quite convinced that Tago will win the World Junior Championship this time... He somehow lucked out last year...
