Asian Championships/Asian Games are graded as BWF World Superseries European Championships/European Games are graded as Grand Prix Gold Oceania Championships/Oceania Games are graded as Grand Prix Pan American Championships/Pan American Games are graded as Grand Prix African Championships/African Games are graded as International Challenge
European Games are different, it is new starting 2015. I think what happened is the OP made it confusing. Calling them Championships is a bit misleading. Not sure about other continents, but for example, in the Pan Am region, there's a Pan Am Championships every year. However, there's a Pan Am Games (multi-sports) every 4 years like the Asian games. I know for Europe, they have a European Championships every year (alternating between Mixed Team & Men and Women), and the European Games starts next year.
Lin Dan won BAC last April and he got 7000 point as GP Gold winner. I guess only Asian Games Individual event will has same grade with BWF Super Series.
It's in Yellow, which means it is a new addition to the rule book that was agreed upon at the recent AGM.
Why is it, that the Asian Games doesn't seem to reflect any points in the World Rankings yet? The individual matches are not reflected as "last matches" on participants full profile either.
