XXF out !!

I suspect someone is having the once a month hot flow.
The scoreline indicated it.

Still, credit to WMC.

Ouch.. I should have done my research before betting...:eek: Next time, I will only bet on Men's singles or doubles event just to be sure that I don't go down-grade to "bananababy" due to sudden unexpected change of form.:D

the lesson: better check their hot flow period before betting:p

Swap WMC 's fighting spirit with LCW's skills, we may have a chance to create another couple who can level XXF/LD's achievements.

Did anyone notice XXF's hair and no-sleeve shirt? It looks weird for professional badminton. Not much of a XXF fan. ZN all the way.

Also, go TH (oh no), go LCW (oh no), go Anup! Make it a pair of sweep :D
In less than a couple more hours, I will officially change my login name to bananakid... like I promised in the other thread because of XXF's loss.:crying:

Why XXF? WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okie dot, blame her loss on her new hair do....just kidding Kid. Can't recall where I read it which says she's not been well during training. I think the coaches tend to have more confidence in ZN.

WOW Mew Choo more like it!

She has to now change her surname. It's amazing really WMC's win, cursed court or otherwise. Who would have thought the rise of the Malaysian's women standard in badminton would skyrocket to where it is today. It's wonderful to farewell the days when:

1. Malaysians have little or no interest in the Sudirman Cup due to the imbalance of standards between its male and female players;

2. The goals set for our Malaysian women is to simply try and not get relegated to Division 3 in the Uber Cup competition;

3. Getting beyond the 3rd round of any tournament would have been proclaimed an amazing achievement, let alone winning any titles or medals at the Olympic, Commonwealth or SEA Games level; AND

4. Any Malaysian fan having a more likely chance of winning the 4-digit lottery 3 times in so many weeks than to even contemplate the possibility of a Malaysian female player taking a set off the almighty Chinese sorceresses (replace wand with badminton racquets).

BUT NOW..just like how the Berlin Wall had fallen, the Great Wall is also showing cracks..starting with our doubles pairs winning Commonwealth Gold Medals (in 2002 and 2006) and silver in the singles in 2006, to winning titles or finishing runners-up (Indonesian and Malaysian Opens) and last night, Wong Mew Choo defeating not only the formidable Xie Xie Fang, but doing it in straight sets while XXF was still in her prime.

And you boys! Shame on you for mentioning the monthly flow thing. Please be more sensitive and respectful, especially over things you know nothing about! :P

Anyway, I just want to enjoy the silver lining of Malaysia's campaign in this years WBC and applaud its women for their achievement. It's about time they get to share some of the limelight and accolades they (and their predecessors) have worked so for!

Wanita Malaysia Boleh! :-)

congrats to WMC....proud to be Malaysian!!!

Nice play with less mistake is the key WMC win that game. XXF look weird with new hair but i still love to see her game. like hong kong artist :D

It doesn't matter if XXF loses...cause in the end it's still team China hoisting all the gold medals...lol. Our little indian friend is about to lose to the great Lin Dan---> no shame in that.

The key is - dont ever change yr hairstyle. :D
KKK, LCW, LD, XXF.... all lost badly after changing the hairstyle
