Yonex AC102 durability ??

On a slightly different note, it seems like yellow and white are the fav colors for many pros. Any special reason perhaps?

White and yellow are tackier than the other colour, I think that's why they use that.

@ucantseeme

Hey I plan to use two of the AC102 as a replacement grip instead of the stock grip. Do you think it'll work?

My current setup is using two Yonex Supergrap AC102EX and it works fine this way but i'm not sure what is the difference between the AC102EX and AC102 or AC103

@Charlie-SWUK

I'd try them.

For me, AC102 and AC103 are at the same good level of handling and thicker feeling than AC102EX, but AC103 has more mouist but still less mouist than AC148.

White and yellow are tackier than the other colour, I think that's why they use that.

But if you saw last final of korea open 2023, india player shety use red one and remember, mf gideon use black one. But not always like this too, they often change colour too. But yellow and white are populer.

Just did 20 mins of drills today and the grip wore way too much for my liking. Really poor durability. Time to switch brands.

The white version seemed to last much better on a different racket i have and feel good though.

I switched to white and yellow and don’t have any problems.

Never tried the other colours - just didn’t like them

Good to know. Its weird how some colours seem to be better, as others on this thread have mentioned. Sadly I need black to match the paint job...
