No offence to Gayatri but her partner is too good for her

Maybe in time Gayatri will develop more as she started out as a singles player

Gayatri Pullela Gopichand clearly the weak link in the Indian combination. Chinese are attacking her all the time and getting rewarded.

Gayathri needs to step up. Treesa is doing most of the hard work.

Jolly + Tanisha would be an explosive pair. They are both very good. I wish it happens.

Yeah true. But for players or umpire, there would have been a doubt whether it touched or not.

Gayathri was a very good singles player, even at the age of 16. I hope she improves in doubles, otherwise it would be kind of unfair to Treesa.

Hopefully jolly doesn’t have to carry Gayatri like Ashwini did most of her career

I saw in this match that Chinese pair was trying to make Jolly move around more and more to tire her. The same way Ashwini has been moved while Jwala and Sikki were more or less idle.

    It's a shame they're breaking up huang/zheng pairing

Yeah, it's only two years till Paris OG 24 and less than half a year till Asian Games 22 and I don't see their new combinations going far in either event.

They should at least have waited till Asian Games to split them up imo.
