I thought Viktor's fitness & stamina had improved. But he kind of look really tired at the end of this 2nd set today.

As for Laksha, the loss today is okay for him. It's good experience for Laksha. Viktor made the finals of many Super Series but kept losing the final over and over again. At one point, Viktor was becoming the king of 2nd place. Viktor's breakthrough happened at the year end Dubai Super Series finals, where ironically, Tian Houwei and Viktor Axelsen both never won a Super Series before, so both were super nervous in the finals and made a lot of unforced errors. Despite both players playing badly in that Dubai finals, Viktor came out the winner and finally broke through and won his first Super Series. From there, Viktor learned to win more and more, leading up to his WC win, and then Olympic gold.

Laksha is still young so he can learn from finals like this, just as Viktor did. Now Laksha knows the level you have to play to win a WC or Olympics.

What precise play from Viktor. Some amazing rallies but Lakshya really needs to work on his attack and his physical attributes. Good exploits for him this tournament. He will be on the radar of many after this so he needs to watch out. Congratulations to Viktor. Well deserved!

Good work by Sen in this final. This is his first super 1000 final . Two consecutive finals for him in this European tour. Quite remarkable for a 20 year old , who is out of Top 10. Good luck to Swiss Open.

    Good experience for LS.
LJZ would have provided a better opponent.
Guess VA preferred to play LS than LZJ.

Kinda expected VA could come too strong for LS, and obviously he did. I feel he may continue doing this to LS for many more encounters, till LS becomes a complete player. You know what, it’s all okay. After all, LS is just 20

Told u viktor just loitering around.in german open by losing to sen. I notice some jealousy already. Wakaka.

Viktor has his eyes on big s1000 or s750 tournaments only. He is a pro. This is where the big money is. He is not stupid to waste energy to.win small tournaments. ;)

Even for wc. Viktor knows he won before and he is not gg to beat lin dan record. Why waste time and effort? There is no money in wc. So, give it to lky. buddy buddy. Lky got good money. They can share the loot. Wakaka. ;)

It was a good match though, the scoreline surely doesn't suggest that but there were good rallies, Lakshya's downfall was that he couldn't finish the points at will. He will get there.

Both ASY and LS play similar style.
Stroke play and wait for opponent's mistakes.

Ive been in this forum for a long time. I notice some good contributers are gone. Maybe fed up with these haters. Lol

Its a pest like really. Felt sorry for those who left. I can feel their frustrations on these haters. Their country is always the best. No one else. Lol ;)

Man, Seriously you are calling out names on others and trying to provoke everybody and now you think you are a good contributer. What a joke !.
I understand your frustration that Sen has beaten LZJ. Don't worry. LZJ's time will come. No jealousy please (In your way of writing)

Cannot say something like this, because king Lee Zii Jia won All England, that must be counted

Without AE, king Lee Zii Jia cannot be counted as a true king.

I see the similarity in basic rally game. But LS is capable doing those attacks and quick follow ups. He used to do a lot of that during his junior days. Unfortunately, his attack is not yielding him much rewards in the Senior Circuit so far. I haven’t seen such qualities in ASY so far
