After losing the first set, Lee/Yoo trail 18-19 in the second set against Mads Conrad/Mads Kolding.
MD is China's achilles' heel.
Wow, maybe this is the biggest upset of the day. Duo Mads/Mads are still on fire after winning the German Open last week. They just won over the no. 1 seed LYD/YYS in straight game!
AAAh..... sh*t, Everything blabl has said about Korean players poor performance is true and confirmed by the loss of Lee Yong Dae :crying:
Ok I see why they lost now... JJS (Jung Jae Sung) retired after OG2012 and cannot be expected to be at full fitness anymore.
Curious to know whether LYD is using Victor racket or his own brand, YD SPORT. If he's using YD SPORT, this would surely sparks a big question mark to himself though..
Upsets just come streaming in huh
Tell me they didn't lose too?!
Ooops... I am a bit late..
Another "highlight" besides all the upsets.
Chloe Magee wins the second set 21-15 against Carolina Marin. Decider to start now
Yellow Card for Marin?
Again? Do you know what happen?
The umpire issued a yellow card to Marin for misconduct.
Well, not that I'm surprised by this.
Anyway, it's already 10pm in Birmingham and there are still approximately 11 matches waiting to play. The last matches might as well end pass mignight. I'm wondering whether or not this could affect tomorrow performance of some players.
Is this normal though?
And there go Matsutomo and Takahashi, beaten by Tang Jinhua and Zhong Qianxin
Yes quite so for the first couple days...though it seems like AE is especially bad. It probably has something to do with my time zones as I will always be asleep at that hour for a competition in Asia.
They should have started at 9am instead of 10am or even earlier.
i guess someone never learn.
A yellow card again for Marin!! Its unbelievable, is she doing it on purpose or what?! She gotta get suspended for at least 2 month of non playing that'll teach her well
