KM is still playing well but just lacking when the rallies get longer.

LD punished KM's backhand clear in an earlier rally.

now KM resort to fast dropping with his backhand, but LD with his vast experience, already waiting at the net, leaving KM standing.

Does anyone have a stream for Court 1 after BWF cuts off? Will be a shame to miss Ouseph - Sasaki and Bao/ Tang vs Pedersen/ Juhl

Lin Dan suddenly slackening a bit too much to allow KM to reduce the deficits to just 2 pts...

Make it 3 pts, 19-16 to LD...

LD pulls it out of the bag. KM played very well and would have beaten most players on his level of play today.

LD had more gears to use if he needed them.

He done the minimum required to win the match.

CL's defense looking absolutely iron clad in his match against CTC. Not sure if LD will be able to break it with this form.

Lin Dan relies largely on his sheer experience, superior technique and better anticipation to put away his young opponent, without his fitness being tested.

Saina starting with the advantageous end. If she goes ahead I'm not sure Yihan's fitness will be good enough to win in 3 sets today.

Exactly, Lin Dan just doing enough to beat KM, not wanting to do anything more than necessary.
