i actually have the B-9000. view my thread here about it http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?90992-warped-yonex-racket.&highlight=
Wow! your B-9000 is even more classic than my B-9100 as yours have the older YY logo. The clamp for wooden racquets will help keep you racquet frame straight but I don't think you can find them anymore. We used to have those clamps for our Dunlop Maxply wood racquet years ago. Plastic bag was scavenged from a more recent Yonex model .

Would you ever consider selling this racket. This is the first racket i ever played with and i am looking to get it again. pbrady@atessi.com
I once had a stack of Yonex B 9100. Several from great players, when at the All England. One from Flemming Delfs, and one special one from Sven Pri, who won the All England that year. His B 9100 racket was made especially light, with ony 4-plys, instead of 5. That helped him smash his way to that victory over Hartono. After that, I experimented and shaved another one down to 4-ply. Certainly lighter. I'll be restringing one for use in Classic Matches, as there is no better tool for touch and control - unless you have the refined skills of the top 10, the wood gives great touch play, with supertight slow drops and net cords, regularly. To get a bit more tension, without stressing the frame unduly, I'll use a 0.64mm dia string. I'm always keen to buy more B 9100, so let me know if selling any.
