too many strings to test. not enough rackets and not enough time! now i wonder how the orange will match with the red/black of my SW35... hm...
Ship strings and rackets to Vancouver. I'm sure there are many willing to help you out (me included).
Ah - you got orange as well. I hope Winston didn't order too much white... Yonex seems to be on an interesting colour kick lately - their recent shoes look like somebody threw a handful of M&Ms in a puddle of crude oil. I'm told they couldn't make the yellow 92MX fast enough... maybe they've learned something!
Well order 2 whites and 3 orange... I just don't think my blue Gosen Shiden would look nice with orange... So 2 packs of white for the Shiden (main racket) and 3 packs of orange for SW35 and VT80...
Judging from his last meeting with Gade, it looks like Viktor A is using the BG80 power on his Voltric. It looks awesome. I can't wait for this string to hit the UK.
Any further impressions of the BG80P? I'm a regular BG80 fan - and also ZM67, VS850 - what characteristics does it have over and above BG80?
Why wait ? I doubt it will be released before the end of the year in the UK. If my guess is correct though, there may be some "lying about" in late November, otherwise it definitely wont be till next year. Better order a sample now, if you like it order some more till it's available in the UK. VS850 is for me the best I think BG80 is too "hard" on impact, VS850 isnt as hard, and has great repulsion, it loses tension quicker, but I can live with that, as it costs half the price. BG80P would have to be a significant improvement over VS850 and BG80P in order for me to use it frequently. Let's hope BG80P doesn't turn out like NBG98, as in the fact it was out for ages in Asia, and then only made an appearance in the UK last year.
Gawd, the BG80P cost so much I had to re-mortgage the house - USD14 a packet vs USD4 for VS850! Better be good, I swear....
