Shida/Matsuyama embarrassing themselves again. Completely beyond me how someone so talented can play such shocking badminton.

I try to match your tongue too.

Don't forget LD has deceived his wife once and I hope his son will not come to learn of it in the future.

Tang Xian Hu is not LD's father and he is just as mortal as LD, certainly no superhuman.

Hope LD is good enough to be chosen for the Tokyo Olympics as he has many contenders for just limited slots in MS.
Well for him to win his 3rd MS crown ... I would say will be almost impossible. Let's dream ....

Maybe LCW may finally recover from his nasal cancer and be his ultimate contender and beat him 31-30 in the decider.

Thanks CLELY for your hardwork in the past.
You deserve a bit of relaxation.

    Why isn't Higa/Wata here?
This should give them more experience and a good chance to win.

They should have done that some time ago, especially last year when that pair was racking up nothing but first round exits in the SS tournaments.

Now they're probably good-ish enough to only play the top tier.

Is there a TV coverage for court 4? Basically high seeded will have their matches there

Yup, busy schedule for me :D
Two slots per nation, considering the age factor it's tough chance for him, we'll see.

Last sixteen interesting MS tie, Lee Zii Jia v Chico Aura Dwi Wardoyo, a rematch of 2016 WJC semifinal where Wardoyo advanced into finale, Lee ZJ beat the experienced Hsu Jen Hao in two close games with many tiring long rallies, 21-18 / 22-20. Another MAS representative, recent World Champ bronze medalist and tournament third seed Liew Daren couldn't pass opening round, stunned by home hopeful Chen Chi Ting.

WS big upset, second seed Michelle Li lost to unknown local player Liang Ting Yu, 19-21 / 14-21.

And people wondered why DL is not up at all in his early 20s.
Sure, he has a good smash but that's all. The man lacks the critical thinking of a maestro.

Takeshita Riichi cruised past seed no. 2 Wang Tzu Wei in straight games! That will boost his confidence! ... Although it is not even remotely enough to save his place as a national team A member.

''Don't forget LD has deceived his wife once''

You lack the credentials to assess the family matters between Sir Lin Dan and Madame Xie Xingfang. Your prejudice for the former makes you an unsuitable candidate to pass your misplaced remarks on the complexities that hover around this issue. ~ ! ~

''and I hope his son will not come to learn of it in the future''

Maybe you are underestimating the depth of Lin Dan's wisdom and the brazenness in his nature.

''Tang Xian Hu is not LD's father and he is just as mortal as LD, certainly no superhuman''

    गुरु समान दाता नहीं,
    याचक सीष समान।
    तीन लोक की सम्पदा,
    सो गुरु दिन्ही दान॥

''Hope LD is good enough to be chosen for the Tokyo Olympics as he has many contenders for just limited slots in MS.
Well for him to win his 3rd MS crown ... I would say will be almost impossible. Let's dream ''

All the Top 100 guys are great athletes. It's all the battle of the will and the brain. The motivation for precision is at all time high for LD who conquered Two of the Most Important Tournaments of 2018 - Yonex All England and New Zealand Grand Slam Championships, beating All Time Greats like Jonatan Christie in the process.

Feels like they can go either way :D
The pair can use more matches to work on their mental game too.

Does that mean this tournament can be considered as level 500? Better than Malaysia Master as level 500 to be honest
