SWH is more patient and consistent

 

Unnecessarily so.

 

SWH now leading by 2 points 17-15, until CL recovered a point with a lucky smash 16-17.

CL became more aggressive and charged in with a big smash to make it 17-all.

 

Quick on the draw, pounce on it.

 

The lead changed hands again, CL made it 19=17 with another side line smash.

 

Chen Long's forte is attack and attack.

 

Chen Long just got to believe in his attacking prowess.

 

An uncharacteristic drop shot error gave SHW a point but CL took it back with a smash. 20-18.

 

SWH plays good, very good footwork

 

Son WH is more patient, less likely to err in long rallies.

 

A long rally to test who will make the first error and CL was the culprit at the net, 19-20 to SWH.

 

CL lost most long rallies... not as patient as SWH

 

A fast doubles exchange for the last point in G1 and CL was the better for it.

CL took G1 21-19.

I wonder if Chen Long does inject the pace and play more aggressive at the end of the set on purpose, or the shot quality of SWH just allowed him to attack easier.

 

A more positive and proactive Chen Long is fast and threatening in his shot-making, suddenly injecting pace now and then with devastating effect.

 

Frankly, I hate to see Chen Long rally too much.

 

SWH plays like typical Korean top players, patience, consistent, could return every play from the opponent, but no outstanding play style... and grind you to death....

 

A simple error creeps into CL's game. 3-all.
