Owner of my local store will let me borrow any racket on his shelf to try. Quite lucky, but he doesn't have the D10 yet. Also it seems way too early for a limited edition D10.
awesome racket DUORA 10 Duora 10 is one amazing beast. Got the 3u version today strung at 27lbs and the feel is just superb! the dual design concept does great for players and allows them to turn defense into offense in an instant. The frame is quite durable and the holographic yonex logo and the paint job is simply fantastic. Very agile racket handling capability and awesome power. But u need to have a good technique to play with this racket or else u would not be able to unleash its true potential. Not advisable for beginners or even intermediates Recommended for advanced and professional players only. Backhand power is awesome.....clears were a cakewalk on court . Defense is this racket's best feature as repulsion power is incredible and the smashes.......believe me were powerful.... ive seen many people say that duora dosent have that punch in power but they are wrong...its got a good punch in the smash provided u have the right technique to hit a smash! Although it dosen't have that heavy smash of a Voltric Z Force 2 or even a Voltric 80 or any other top Voltric for the matter but this makes up for the little lack of power in the quick response department as its easy to handle at the net as voltric's are heavy rackets and arent comfortable for netplay and drives. I actually just bought two now... Coming from a ZF 1.. My back hand is better I must say, but my smash seem to have lost power. But I think this could all be because of not hitting the sweet spot properly I'm not at 27 yet, playing around 25-26. But will see how it goes after maybe a week of playing... I'm slowing trying to wean off the ZF 1 which has been with me for about 3 years now..
It's a really good racket and certainly better than the recent Etunes. I'll be posting my review some time next week. Paul www.badminton-coach.co.uk
Still not sure of the true original source (probably from twitter somewhere or this actually is the first posting linked below) (this one from http://www.tepokbulu.com/forum/showthread.php?p=333618#post333618)
Well, they showed up. This will be very interesting. (I can never get enough of those little Japanese booklets and the stamps, so very Japanese)
This racquet really works! I was skeptical when I heard Yonex's marketing spiel around this racquet, but after having used it for 10 days or so - I can safely say that it works as advertised, well almost. The difference between the aerodynamic frame and box frame was perceptible. Backhand shots play really well when using the aerodynamic frame (green side) and the box frame (orange side) does reasonably well for power shots. The racquet is very manoeuvrable and easy to use. Defensively, this racquet performed very well and I could, with little effort, return some wicked smashes that were thrown at me. It was also easy to convert defence into attack because wielding this racquet was markedly easier than my go-to Voltric 80 (3U). It was easy to play drops (slice and reverse slice) with this racquet. Net play was good too. Clearing was fine, but it's certainly not as good or crisp as my Voltric 80. This was expected since the Voltric is a head-heavy racquet. Smashing with this racquet felt good. My smashes were fast, but not as quick as my go-to Voltric 80. Duora plays best when smashing from Mid-court. Smashing from the back court was fine too, but don't expect winners from there. Playing drive shots, especially on the backhand side, was superb. It was a joy to play backhand smashes/kills/drives with this racquet. While I really like this racquet, but I'm still hesitant to pick a clear winner vis-a-vis my current favourite and go-to (Voltric 80). Hopefully, I'll have a winner at the end of this week.
Is Duora 10 an even balanced racket. I have seen singles players like LCW & HS Prannoy use Duora 10 also some doubles players like morgensen also use this racket. Is it a doubles or a single racket?
Just a personal point of view, Vishnu The Duora can be a head heavy racket or a head light racket. It's not an even balanced racket coz you can feel the difference between both sides of the racket.
Oh thanks for the reply. IMO Duora 10 should be for advanced players who can rotate the rackets in good speed
