I happened to hear Frost said it also during the CTC - Kanta match just now. I'm only a messenger, dear.. Could I have misheard him? If yes, I stand corrected.
So, I just heard Gill talking about lee yong dae and it got me wondering, did he stopped playing internationally? I know he cameback from retirement but I don’t see him in any tournaments anymore?
Against The Super Retriever, Akane Yamaguchi, your attacks had better be intense and accurate as to overwhelm her more often than not , or you might as well be playing against the wall. Regardless what you throw at her, smashes, drop shots, punch clears, tight net shots, fast drives, soft shots and trick shots, they had better find their mark or you are done for time and again. Fascinating to watch how Akane bamboozles her opponents every now and then.
The INA pair had no answers to the Korean pair's smashes. Kevin also made a few long returns before the interval.
I always wondered how would the minions fare against the top pairs from the CY/FHF, LYD/JJS, BoMo era. Today’s MD final match gave a glimpse of it. Sent from my Mi Note 10 Pro using Tapatalk
What I don't like about the Minions is that they're never like a team (never look like) when they don't do so well.
Interestingly the Koreans are not allowing minions to get into their favourite fast flat gameplay Sent from my Mi Note 10 Pro using Tapatalk
The body language of Markus Fernaldi Gideon is always not good whenever the INA pair is not doing well.
Very good question. But Ko/Shin aren't as fast as they used to be in their prime and they are struggling in their defense. But on the other hand, they have more experience now and seem to have a better tactical understanding
surprisingly minions actually won the h2h against ko/shin (2-1) and the last time they met was in 2016
