KO Sung Hyun SHIN Baekcheol - ATTRI Manu REDDY B. Sumeeth 21-14 21-16 Ko and Shin won the R1 match vs Attri/Reddy, hopefully they will be on tv-court later
I just don't understand why she even bothers to enter tournaments if she isn't 100 percent or hasn't recovered from a niggling injury. Or is she retiring mid way just because she don't want to lose another match. Whatever is wrong with her these days.
What would be the reason for a fine? Withdrawing before a tournament is underway will surely not result in a fine. Maybe he was just being optimistic.
No clue why these two keep playing. It is high time BAI sets a performance target for these non-performers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Looks like MS discipline will provide good chance for the underdogs to get better result in top flight tour, how far Kento Momota physical ability can endure here?
I am hoping that he will have a good chance of winning if he manage to get past Rasmus Gemke. These players would still be considered a threat to him if they meet - Heo (smash), Loh (smash), CTC (it will become a long match - Momo will run out of gas), Angus (smash) and LCY (smash). But I am hoping his experience could help him?
It is a Super 750. Being WR 2, he has to participate and he also has to be present at the venue and participate in certain off-court activities. (Is it called "top committed player"? Something like that.)
Well as much as I do not like athlete taking spots when they are going to give up that early I assume that he wanted to give it a shot after all. (edit ah yes he has to participate because of bwf regelmentation it is clear now) Anyway I was genuily wondering what happened at some point I though they were just relocating the match to another court since i just saw them walk out of court. Hope him and Momota rest well and we can see good matched between the two (hope SYQ come back strong and motivated too to give those two more competition regardless of unfortunate events everyone knows about here)
Aren't you being too hard on him? I mean even Gil and Steen sometimes mention - the players do the most difficult shot in the most difficult scenarios but then mess up the easier one to finish or continue the rally.
I do wonder how tired Kento will be able to handle Rasmus Gemke. Quite surprised that the Swedish WD team won their first match but the second one should really be far too hard, I think.
