Yeah... Chinese second stringers have a great chance to make a mark in this tournament...

Yup, all INA WS were ousted at first round, SS tournament is too much for them. Let's see their performance next week in Bitburger GP Gold.

Seems data base error happened yesterday but gladly BC is back to normal :)

Several seeded shuttlers were sent packing yesterday, Tago (3rd seed), Jorgensen (2nd), Sindhu (8th), Fu HF/Zhang N (6th).

Why lost to Sabrina JAQUET? a player from nowhere.

It seems that Indonesia concentrating more on XD, they sent 7 XD pairs this time.

Adrianti FIRDASARI lost to a player from SUI, half her WR (#23 vs #46)

Yeah, adapting to a Blue Ocean Strategy may give them the better results. This SS may be possibly just a delicate warming up for them to embrace the next week GPG.

Xue Song lost in a first round "civil war":

Chen Yuekun bt Xue Song 26-24, 12-21, 21-8 in 0:55

The same ill fate is facing Liu Xin as well today, only slightly further, in the second round.

Give her any opponent from other nations, she may pose some winning chance.

But to face her steady stumbling block, her compatriot Wang Yihan so early, and this unfortunate placement just happens in the second round, is too much of an ill fate for her. No wonder she is not able to shine any better, just earn a WR #25. I pity this lady.

I too fancy Kashyap's chances over the other remaining prospects, he is more stable, consistent and a clever, mature player. Don't forget, last week he ousted JOJ, and this week K Tago, WR #3 and 4 respectively, both highly fancied contestants in the absence of the Fearsome Trio.

If only Lin Dan is not affected by injury concerns....I'm looking forward to seeing him at the CHN Open PSS, the HK Open SS, and, hopefully , qualify for the Dubai SSF.
