Do you guys believe that both Zhao Yunlei and Zhang Nan will try or rather will qualify and play both events in Rio?! If they want a chance to win the MD their best choice is FuNan. I wonder whether LK/LC are in consideration for Rio. Propably not. The other pairs of LX/QZ and CB/HW have ups and downs and I can't see the potential for winning the big events. Ok, WC15 showed LX/QZ still can deliver, but Im not really impressed by them. In WD they have a luxury problem in a way, but ZY/TQ are still the most reliable. Luo twins are good, but I don't think they are top notch in terms of the chinese understanding. WX/YY struggle with injurys, so no real option, too. Tang Jinhua is a victim if they go back to the ZY/TQ combination. And they did not find the "perfect" partner for Tang Yuanting. Somehow I don't think pairing up with Ma Jin or Yu Yang can make a Olympic Champion combination... When will the team directors choose there combinations to finally pair up consistently to gain enough qualification points?! The Korean team seems to have found their combinations. Playing MX is just to gain more stamina for Yoo/Lee, I imagine, as they obviously aim for Rio MD gold. KSH/KHM is their shot for Rio medals in MX. Glad to see Kims are getting back to top form, too. They should battle it out with Shin and Ko for a possible second spot for Rio in the MD. And with SBC/Chae and KKJ/SSC there are two more MX combinations who are good for suprising results and troubling some of the established pairs. Chang Ye Na/Lee So Hee and Jung Kyun Eun/Shin Seung Chan look to be promising along the other two combos. Their problem is their low ranking so they meet top pairs in early rounds. I hope they can gain points soon
you might can rely on this one: http://www.badmintoncentral.com/for...ist-amp-DRAW?p=2390010&viewfull=1#post2390010 P.S: just forget about Hoon Thien How/Lim Khim Wah as they withdrawn...
Having retained his Denmark title and the accompanying hefty ranking points, I suspect Chen Long may be inclined to take it easy here. His position at the top is so secure, nothing at stake, there's no need to push himself hard and take unnecessary risk trying to win back-to-back SS tourneys. That doesn't mean he won't want to win it but the drive and motivation to do so isn't anywhere as high as at the Denmark Open. Frankly, I'd love to see a Chen Long - Lin Dan Dream Final, to me, but I'm not too hopeful, mostly Lin Dan's problem, not sure he can even survive until then.
At the same time, I'm not optimistic that LXR can do well in this back-to-back SS despite her unexpected but remarkable achievement last week signalling she is on the comeback trail. I'm still quite doubtful her longstanding mental weakness issue which last hit her very badly only a couple months ago at the Copenhagen WC can be overcome so soon (not for psychological injuries that failures and setbacks can inflict), not to mention it's pretty tough for anyone to win back-to-back SS tourneys nowadays.
i hope AX wins , because I wan to see him play against LCW. I think AX should win , although head to head against wei nan is 0-1
at last, CWF finally overcome his opponent Lind in straight games, this is CWF first victory against the Dane after 2 times defeat to Lind before...
Wow just checked the result and then I got a shock of my life. No time to watch matches life. Working non stop. Wow result of the day I guess. And what a big upset. 1. Chong Wei Feng won Lind Thomson 21-10 21-9 just within 30 minutes. 2. Jyung Kung Eun / Shin Seung Chan won Juliane Piron / Alix Saumier 21-7 / 21-5 3. Yoo Yeon Seong / Chang Ye Na won Marvin Emil Seidel / Linda Efler 21-10 21-10
Anyway the matches will end during the wee morning hours for me to definitely it is not suitable for me stay up late to watch the matches so I will check the scores and sleep at 10 pm Asia timing sharp.
thanks CLELY as always!!! May I make a minor suggestion. For local time, perhaps state "GMT+2", instead of providing a link.. thanks again!!
Predictions of who will pass the MS qualifying round Qualifying 1 : Kwnichi Tago Qualifying 2 : Lee Dong Keun Qualifying 3 : Chong Wei Feng Qualifying 4 : Wang Tzu Wei WS Qualifying 1 : Nichaon jindapol Qualifying 2 : Tee Jing Yi Qualifying 3 : Kaori Imabeppu Qualifying 4 : Hsu Ya Ching
Another match of the day. Chang Ye Na / Lee So Hee won Chiang Kai Hsin / Wu Fang Chien 21-7 21-12 Oh but then Lee Dong Keun has withdrawn. The reason is as simple as this. The BKA wanted to safe money and they knew Lee Gong Keun have no chance maybe to even pass the qualifying round hence the walkover last minute. I explain this to avoid any further rumours or speculation. So I hope no one will question this walkover.
Sorry 2 wrong predictions for MS qualifying. Forgot about Lee Dong Keun withdrawal. Hence The qualifying 1 and 2 prediction is the wrong one. I also forgot about Kenichi Tago current poor performance.
