Hi all master,

I'm looking to upgrade my wise 2086 to either precision 8.0 or 9.0. Cant come to a decision on which one to buy, where is it worth to pay extra for the auto lock and auto height adjustment on precision 9.0. Or just go with the manul 8.0.

PS: main stringing badminton racquet.

Any master tried both machine able to walk me through with pros n cons??

Thanks

You got money to burn get a Precision 9.0. On a budget go with Precision 8.0. Not necessary for auto lock, in the begining Toyozouki didn't like it because they said sometimes the autolock would not get the racket grommet in the best position, sometimes pulling more friction on the grommet, instead of its natural position. You could almost get 2 Precision 8.0 for 1 Precision 9.0.

What I really like about Precision 8.0 is that you can set up with 1 person. All of the earlier Toyozouki machines the piece that the tension head and turntable attach to is not balanced and need to screw together on the bottom, so best to assemble tool tray part upside down to stand then screw on base, flip over then tension head and turntable, and turntable is a bit heavy and a little difficult to align. Precision 8.0 attach base to stand, turn over and then attach tool tray screwing in on the top, and if you need a free hand the tool tray part balances well on the stand if not screwed in. Turntable screws in on the top, unlike previous Toyozouki machines screw in under the machine, all machines screw in tension head under the machine.

If you plan to travel with a machine, 8.0. If you got money to burn and it is going to stay in 1 place, go with 9.0

You can paint 8.0, harder to paint 9.0 I think
