Julh/ pedersen the defending WD champions out of the tournament losing in two straights sets against the new chinese WD scratch pair.

It will take a bit of time for Julh to get completely fit again I guess

Only defending champion left in the tournament is therefore Tai Tzu Ying

They are great. Really distinctive style. Lots of tight net shots and drops. They could take the place of kamura sonoda or kobayashi/ hoki in Team A soon

Saturday's SF will have 2 sessions.
We are in for a treat of 10 matches for approximately 10 hours.

They are right and left combination. Proven to be difficult for Liu/Zhang as thats the first time they met?

But they don't seems to be talking to each other. Looks to me like the shorter partner is always not happy with his partner.

Good for spectators, bad for players who played later? Especially if its quite far apart.

The MD Lim Khim Wah/Yoo Yeon Seong cross border partnership looks promising

Surprise, Huang Dongping/Li Wenmei beat the Danish WD Juhl/Pedersen, the 3rd seed, in two straight sets to boot.

Looks like Korea WD quadrapled killed and have to rely on Son&Sung again.

Not sure how they sell the tickets.
I remember in the 2010 Thomas Cup, they had two sessions. The tickets were hard to get. My friend could only watched the first session and during the break, the fans without tickets were willing to pay whatever amount for the 2nd session.

Any word on Marin's retirement? While I'm not her fan per se, I hope she hasn't incurred a serious injury.

You mean its totally sold out.

Being in the seats, i cant imagine sitting for 5 hours, let alone 10 hours. Somehow it gets quite boring, if its too long.

MalaysiaOpen SF @ Kuching was like that too and i dont bother to come for the Morning (earlier session). It will be worst if they separate the price tickets, they should make it as one day ticket rather than two sessions ticket though! Heard its quite pricey too?

As much I want them to succeed, they are not going anywhere until Lim K Wah serve like a badminton player.
    He is wasting YYS's capability.

Chen Long beating Lee Hyun Il in R1 is no mean feat, we know how dangerous LHI can be in the early rounds.
