How are VA and SWH doing?
A better performance from TJY in G2, now leads 11-7 but still error-prone and sluggish.
TJY will lose G2, often tricked and court coverage suspect.
TJY looks troubled...
TJY continues to gift points...
SWH took G1 with tight 21 - 19.
G2 currently 4 -2 for SWH.
Quite impossible for TJY to win as she is riddled with simple mistakes and seems troubled by her bandaged right knee. Trails 15-18.
Unable to cover the long diagonal after a x-ct shot,TJY, soon it'll be over for her...
Not a good indication of Marin's form in view of TJY's mediocre performance. Too bad TJY isn't a Lin Dan if she's bothered by her right knee problem.
Meanwhile, Son WH is one game to the good and leading in the second, 8-5...
Live telecast over, have to wait until 6.30pm local time, for livestream to be available.
In 27 min, CM took the match from TJY 21-8, 21-17,
just as I thought...
how the hell did WYH lose to TJY??
Well even a LD can't save himself.
Frankly, I was expecting more from TJY, after her earlier successes.
Her labored movement must be attributed to mainly her "injured knee" ?
I'm as confounded as you are. I did not watch the match, but I think TJY must be physically fitter not trouble by her knee.
VA is coming back in G2?! from 14 - 7 down to 15 - 14 ! Good to see
Go on Viktor
He went to the final overcoming four opponents from R1 before it was too much for him unlike Tee JH who was at most troubled in this one match at the QF. That showed Lin Dan's class as only he could, considering the kind of opponent he handled, particularly JOJ and CTC.
Besides, LD's knee injury was more serious with two effusion extractions, the second one on 29th Oct. According to RedShuttle, he hurt his knee playing soccer after the Asian Games, then aggravated it at the Denmark Open PSS R1 with CTC.
An Olympic and World Champion, how can TJY be compared to him?
Yet he lost to an unseeded player who did not win any title of repute before.
