Sorry my friend, but I am enjoying the match. Just returned from a 10-day trip which took me to Java and North Sumatra. Met so many nice and polite INA people.....coach drivers, guides, shop assistants, simple folks on the streets and in the villages. I think I am beginning to love the INA people. So I am rooting for Ahsan and Setiawan. If they go on to win the title I am going to celebrate by downing a cup of the best wine from Jacob's Creek and listening to the Batak song " Sing Sing So " made famous by the late Teresa Teng and the opening ceremony of the Guangzhou Asian games. HORAS ( greeting in Batak language) to U my friend.

Typical Ahsan/Setiawan game. Either it's fast and straight sets or it's dramatic and lots of ebbing and flowing over three sets. Classic. Somehow, they win yet again.

Based on the famous Confucius saying,'Within the four seas, all men are brothers' and I add, all women are sisters, lest I'm accused of being sexist, but it's a hassle to have to use man and woman when just the word man will do to refer to human beings, just as mankind refers to all human beings.

We should all respect freedom of expression as long as it doesn't cross the line, such as slander, obscenity, incitement to crime, and suchlike.

Even INA's new but humble President Jokowi came by Singapore yesterday to attend his son's graduation at ACS Independent. He and his wife were so friendly with the school staff and his son's classmates and they took many pictures or "selfies" together. They came on economy class not in the President Jet as he said he came on personal and not official business.

I'm hoping that INA will be able to solve many of its problems and uplift the lives of its ordinary people.
I wish President Jokowi every success in this regard.

If only everybody understands and accepts the wisdom "四海之內皆兄弟" the world will be a better place to live in.

Wow! What a humble and unassuming President. I heard that he does not like to wear tie and always like to roll up his sleeves too. Wish the INA people every success and happiness under their new President.

Exactly, that's why I'm a citizen of the world, influenced by Socrates, one of the three wise men of ancient Greece, a concept similar to the Confucian saying "四海之內皆兄弟". In modern times, Albert Einstein and some other great thinkers held the same belief.

As for sexism, I can use the term humans, human beings, humankind but this is stretching things a bit, unnecessarily, when the words, man, mankind, manpower have no sexist overtones or connotations, originally. Anyway, I've been adopting non-sexist language as far as possible as I'm against *** discrimination.

The younger pair still has quite a bit to learn from their seniors. It's Xu/Ma vs Zhao/Zhang tomorrow.

I think the two characters "兄弟" are meant to be read to include the fairer *** as well. No Justin, you are definitely not a sexist or a racist or any other "ist". Otherwise, I will never look forward to your posts and marvel at the way you articulate your views.

Liu Xin's deep backhand is still a problem for her,and her drop shots are often not fast or sharp enough.

I suppose you are watching on TV, Justin. Lucky you. Live streaming has suddenly becomes very laggy and even TS gets stuck very often. Guess I will go to sleep and watch the recorded matches in Youtube. After all this is not a big-deal tournament.
