Its a fact. If you could not see the rest given to Loh because of Walkover, then nobody can do anything . If he loses to Sen, then he should blame himself for not utilising the rest he got from the walkover . So...,

There are pros and cons for rest. Plus he doesn't really has a tough QF match. I think he will rather plays than rest.

And there is no guarantee that Loh will win him. His h2h is 2-2 and it will be 50-50, if you ask me.

Congratulations to the husband-wife pair Terry Hee/Tan Wei Han as they win their biggest title of their career so far - the India Open 2022 (Super 500), after beating Chen Tang Jie/Peck Yen Wei in straight-sets 21-15, 21-18. They were leading comfortably at 16-9 but won only 2 out of the next 10 points as the young MAS pair pegged them back to 17-18. Luckily, they wrapped the set up quickly. This adds to the Czech Open 2021 the couple won last year.

Looks like SG may have a top 20 pair contender as the pair climbs up the ranking table slowly. They will be competing in the India Masters (Super 300) next week (much tougher draw I think as they are drawn against the sixth seed Dhruv Kapilla/Reddy Sikki in R32 and the same MAS pair the face today in QF) and the Odisha Open 2022 (a winnable Super 100) in the following week.

I am confident they will be motivated with this strong start to the year!

Rankireddy/Shetty won the 1st set, 21-16.
Siding with the youth this time around.

It was not to be for Mohd Ahsan/Hendra Setiawan. You cannot deny age and speed as they lost to the home pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy/Chirag Shetty in straight-sets 16-21, 24-26. Another runner-up spot for them.

Yes, come on Indian youngsters!
Congratulations to Ranki/Shetty for making history, becoming the 1st ever Indian pair to win the India Open since its inception.
Very thrilling yet nervy 2nd set, too.

Good God, Lakshya and his habit of choking out during crucial points.

unforced errors from LKY...

saw some uncharacteristic unforced errors from ahsan/setiawan as well. the colder conditions might have something to do with it maybe

Hmm, I don't know but I guess temperature is controlled inside the arena.

I'm smelling the Sen of defeat here from LKY.
Come on, Lakshya.
Join your victorious brothers in arms just now.

Better player won it today. Sen's power is on point. Even Loh could not defend it. Finished it in straight games. Congratulations Lakshya Sen. Just 20 years old. He has whole future in front of him. Loved it. Really Loved it.
