i'm from st.robs, our sr team's mix isn't good but not horrible. i'm one of the mixes, last yr and the yr b4 i was mix #1 i think this yr i'm mix # 2, the sr tournament is held this coming tuesday on march 28, and it is our home court, see the rest of u mix doubles out there
he meant sr cuz i'm the other mix pair, i'm gonna come out with all i have even tho i think i won't advance.
ok...i'm bak again..and after actually seeing most of the St robs team now...i think there will b a few adjustments...
predictions for 1st round in Zone C..for st robs....Seniors
Boys doubles = eliminated
Girls doubles = one will qualify and the other wont...they shuld do better then 3rd
Mixed Doubles = both will qualify..2nd and 3rd/4th
Girls singles = elimanated
Boys Singles = eliminated
Girls Doubles = 1st or 2nd
Boys Doubles = Eliminated
Mixed Doubles = i'll say wat i can after i see them play today at St A's
Boys Singles = 1st or 2nd
Girls Singles = one will qualify...mb 3rd...i hav to see the other one as well
ok..after seeing all the juniors play..the only two adjustments are tht mixed doubles will not qualify and girls singles..both will qualify no problem
what schools are in Zone C?
Well......it is really of no relevance of who makes round one. I mean, 4 teams will advance out of 8-10 teams, so usually is it the very inexperienced palyers that will get kicked out. Anyone with some sort of knowledge of badminton skills should be able to make it past round 1.
Round two on the other hand only allows 2 teams to advance. That should prove more intresting =)
elaborating a bit on previous point, there are actually 12 teams (6 schools per zone, 2 pairs/singles per event)
now as for the second round, since only 2 teams advance from your two zones (there are six zones in YRAA), what i can say is: 90% of those who make it in the YRAA finals have professional training, and many of those probably have trained since young...
speaking as a person who has also trained at lees...for those late-comers such as myself, we would probably have to work 2x, or more to catch up on the skill-gap.
ah the chances are grim indeed.
hey all, i havn't chatted here in a while i think, but today we had our first tourny for sr's for zone D, i played mix n claimed 1st while the other mix @ st.robs claimed 2nd. i forgot about the rest, i'll tell u guys 2morrow
Hey, is BSS in your zone?
yea, i just remembered that both their boys doubles claimed first n second, raymond wong claimed 1st <-- this kid is krazy amazing. Now i believe that he beat alventino last yr
2nd round for Zone C & D at King City is on April 12th. Any mixed doubles to watch out for?
dude, none of the other zones started their tourny's yet i think, they all start in april, lol.
zone f plays april 10th
zone e plays march 31st
or the other way arund

LOLZ worry abt ur own game and let the rest come to u....concentrate on wat i told u when u played the final game....u didnt listen..and thtz y u lost... jon jon...beat u guys b/c he played the RIGHT game....u just messed urself up...and cost urself the chance of beatin them...but congrats on qualifyin
Thanks harhar. Everything looks pretty much the same as last year
Why must second round be in st aug....................i hate my school gyms....sighhh. Btw, what colour birdies can we play with in seniors?
Only WHITE, yellow isn't allowed for seniors.
I've been to st.a the past years for exhibition games, the gym is nice and new. Whats wrong with them -_-
The water fountain dribbles, the sinks have warm to hot water, the lights are blinding when you look up, yet they are just bright enough to leave our walls looking yellow. Enough? =P
