    That's the 3rd request...

I think the PP10k is slightly narrower ISO so it might just play a bit oval.

been reading through the thread and there appears to be quite a lot of interest from the uk. i was wondering whether it would be possible to do a combined shipping deal for the pp10k, if that could save some of us some money. i'd be interested.

    ZELM PowerPlay 10000 Review

    ZELM PowerPlay 10000 Review

Initial observations: The PowerPlay 10000 was noticeably more balanced compared to the Powerplay 9990, the racquet was also a bit stiffer than the PowerPlay 9990.

    Specs of Racquet:
    -String: Yonex BG-80
    -Tension: 27 x 29 lbs
-Grip: Karakal replacement/overgrip right over factory grip

Through using the racquet the lack of head heaviness was very noticeable to me, overall though it was not a disappointing factor. The more even balanced head of the racquet did not affect power though because of the added stiffness. The racquet is easily maneuverable and has a solid feel when defending a smash at the body or away from the body; it is easy to maneuver the racquet into position. It is easy to hold and flick as well as block back to the net off a smash even playing a fast paced crosscourt drive or block. The racquet has great control especially at the net with deceptive shots and normal net shots.

Personally I am a wristy player and will snap my wrist for power and this racquet does not disappoint. A lot of power can be generated with a quick snap and the even balanced specs do not take away from the power, the stiffer shaft compensates for it. The frame is the same as the powerplay 9990 so there is no change there both have the same aerodynamic properties. The new grommet system put on the racquet for no shared grommets at the top is nice and not a pain to string either, it allows for a cleaner feeling hit.

Overall the PowerPlay 10000 is a solid racquet that is highly maneuverable, even balance/little head light and stiff. It is a racquet with exceptional control as well as power potential and leaves a very solid hitting feeling. I very much enjoy using this racquet and look forward to future racquets from ZELM.

    Nick

    Completely agree with Smash_Master.:D

The Powerplay10000 is a pleasant improvement from the Powerplay9990. With the slightly stiffer shaft and balanced specs compared to the Powerplay9990, better control, added maneuverability/defense without sacrificing on the offense.

I would be posting my views on it as well very soon.:D And will be showing you guys, what is the perfect color combination for Powerplay10000 for string and grip!:p:p Surely, its not going to be orange string and grip like what Donnygan said.:p

Would you say it leans more towards an all-rounder and is more suitable in doubles rather than singles?

Which yonex racket would say the new pp10k resembles most?

    Thanks!

No wonder you ask me to hold my 2nd Trixon purchase. More balanced and stiffer than the PP9990 is exactly what I am looking for.

Haha thanks sgbad for the photos. I'm not a fan of towel grips unfortunately! I do like the idea of white string white grip but white grips get dirty pretty fast. I was thinking f a green grip white string :)

looking forward to your review :)

haha darn that makes the decision between PP10k and PPT2 that much harder...

while it may be a racket in it's own right, how would you compare it's flex with other rackets? havent had the opportunity to hold a PP9k so i dont know what stiffer than that would mean

I definitely like the blue ones, and the black ones are good as always. For the grip, I wonder if there's a karakal super pu duo that's a green and white. That would look cool.
