What about 29-29, sudden death! I don't think service judge will call fault at such a crucial point...
some countries did write a protes to World Badminton Federation (WBF), Paisan Rangsikitpho on September 22th regarding this service fault. But seems no respond :-( China started this protes followed together with Malaysia, Korea, Indonesia, Singapore" Sometime also I think this service fault , quite & even really stupid. Because as world class professional badminton player, each player should be know what they can do & what then cant do. They play & train badminton more than 15 years & go to many tournament every year.... What a pity this service fault
perhaps an area would be better. that way both shorter and taller players could be accounted for. hehe.. find the shortest badminton player in the worlds and the tallest. measure their waist heights and all all players to contact the shuttle between these two points. keep the rule about racquet pointing downwards and that the shuttle must travel in upwards direction iinitally. this way you could mark the heights on the posts or the net for the service judge to see. coops
it isn't - i watcched his and bob's game against the indonesians and he does start high, but it drops to a legal level before he serves.. coops
