if ZJH does well in tournament circuit, it would sure make the chinese coaches scratching their heads, like how can they compose a playbook against ZJH when it is him and tang fu's styles that all the current form of chinese players were copied from.
Only 3 pages long??.. ..i better see this news/article being published and covered on the many badminton-related websites all around the world... ahem...missed it??.. http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=53935
I believe it is true that Zhao Jianhua's trickery is much better than LD/LCW. When it comes to tricks, maybe TH comes closest.. However even in his prime Zhao was not as fit as LD, LCW or even TH. How the simulation gauged that he could be victorious against them is difficult to comprehend, given that all 3 have pretty fast court coverage and defences. The simulation did somewhat prove that Zhao's weakness is against rally and defensive players. In his career he had most trouble with Foo Kok Keong, Ardy Wiranata, so I'm not surprised that LHI beat him in simulations.
Zhao doesn't speak English but I'm told he understands it. Probably Dr Raymond Tan, who speaks Mandarin and Hokkien, is the translator
Perhaps our Australian members could get more details from Canberra. The Australian Institute of Sport has a media division.
u must remember that the simulation also had considered additional enhancements on Zhao85 by using today's racket, shoes, grip and string, u can't just teleport a 1985 ZJH as is to today's setting and make straight comparison. If u watch the old matches in the 1985 era, I noticed MS players take less breaks like less shuttle changes, less mopping, less water break. Don't this show players in the 1985's era are just as fit if not more fitter?
