    Hi,
I am curious to what people do to train for a particular event. I always hear people talk about training to peak for an event but really dont know what that means and the principles of how to do it. I would guess long before get fitness up doing off court work, treadmill, up and down sand dunes running in water to build up leg strength with minimal on court work, then onto more intense on court but how do you go from that. Any advice would be great.

i would go jogging more often to improve my stamina and decrease the intensity of my training so i wont get injured. I would also watch my favourite player's video to get motivation. hehe.
