I'm really surprised by HTH/TWK's defeat. Hope Chooi/Ow can beat their seniors and make the final, but highly unlikely.
As for KKK/TBH vs Fuzzy, Fuzzy has a good record against KKK/TBH I guess.

I've seen Fu Mingtian and Gu Juan play before but not Xing Aiying. Does anybody have her photos or, better still, know where to find videos of her matches?

Xing Aiying taking two promising Japanese players as her scalps is a good start, should I say come-back. It may just be the second wind she needed to lift her game. Is she 25 already, still not too old nor impossible to bloom and blossom, remember Sho Sasaki?

    MS SF
    Lee Chong Wei
[1] vs Tommy Sugiarto [3] - Tommy at least fulfills his seeding and this is perhaps the best opportunity for him to beat LCW, who's currently still not in his top form and was stretched by Chong Wei Feng yesterday. Still, LCW has the edge.

Muhd Hafiz Hashim [6] vs Sony Dwi Kuncoro - Sony has been quite impressive this week in reaching SF. He also has a good H2H record against Hafiz, including a victory in their last encounter in Taipei last year. I hope Sony can reach his first Final in almost 2 years.

    XD SF
    Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying
[1] vs Riky Widianto/Richi Dili Puspita - Riky/Richi have performed well again and I would like to see them stretching the top-seed to 3-sets.

Irfan Fadhilah/Weni Anggraini vs Danny Bawa Chrisnanta/Vanessa Neo Yu Yan [2] - the SIN pair has the edge. Nevertheless, Irfan/Weni also show an upward trend since end of last year, which is a positive sign for their partnership.

Hoping to get to the Finals with these 2 good matches

    .
Yup, hope that what you have posted will come true. I guessed for the same outcomes too.

    Hoping to get to the Finals with these 2 good matches;

MS: Lee Chong Wei [1]-vs-Sony Dwi Kuncoro

XD: Chan Peng Soon/Goh Liu Ying [1]-vs-Danny Bawa Chrisnanta/Yu Yan Vanessa Neo [2]

    :):):)

No MAS WS rep for a clean sweep. Sad.

Sad to say that today's MAS WS players haven't arrived at WMC's and/or Julia Wong's standards, some 5 years ago.
