Cruel way to end the match, a net cord. JPN wins 21-19. A classic match

Japanese take it 21-19 in the final game with a vicious net cord on match point, good match to watch.

Both Japanese players have impressive smashes, too many unforced errors from the Koreans.

How many years has it been since Japan had a MD in semis of All England? Yonex must be pleased.

True, but Tommy needs to show what he can do. He's been in the scene for awhile now and this is his best shot for SF spot on SS tourney.

nice match between the Koreans and Japanese. Korean's speed and intensity at the start of the 1st game was impressive but unfortunately it will take superhuman to keep that up. in the end, they turned back to normal and the Japanese won. the match couldn't gone either way, imho.

    2Bad that 2Kim didn't get there, but they're definitely the future! :)

If Tine doesn't suddenly start entertaining thoughts of winning the title and continue playing without expectations but simply to enjoy a good game, she should prevail over Lindaweni, I think.
