Unless they mess up, WD title is for INA independents to grab. And with 200% effort, XD title as well...

I've seen Chen Yuekun's name in int'l tournament since, what, 2010?

Having won several GP titles, he must be a good player. However, with little chance to prove himself to His Majesty Li Yongbo, if he doesn't step up quickly, the best he can do is... serving as a reliable bodyguard for General CL and his officers, DPY & WZM.

Looks like we have either Goh Soon Huat or Iskandar in the finals against Alamsyah or Chen Yuekun. Chen Yuekun seems to have red-hot form though, hope Yunus or a Malaysian can deny him the title.

Nope, Chen Yuekun wasn't push to the limit. In fact Liew Daren were way to poor and the attitude was very bad.
If I were the coach, he wouldn't be in my team. No fighting spirit.

I was most interested in the all-INA XD tie, a battle between two INA ex-greats, Yanti Kusmiati vs the legendary Sigit Budiarto (from the coaching chairs).

Won by Sigit, of course, but he wasn't happy that Gideon and Variella dropped the 2nd game. Boy, that girl could really hit hard, almost as if MD was playing XD. This should cause a lot of concern to Lai Pei Jing/Tan Aik Quan, their next opponent.

Markis/Alvent rolling easily over the supposedly #2 seed, and they win 21-15, 21-11

One match left. Tight one with MAS pair up 11-9 in the rubber. INA youngsters let G2 get away, leading 19-15 at one stage
