Nop, just different distribution codes intendedfor a different market and once the racquets are brought over to a different market the price of the TH racquets intended for the Thai population is found to be less.
I cannot say much abot the quality...but for TH rackets SP is not printed on the shaft. As such claiming a warrenty from the local agent (Sunrise) here is Singapore will be impossible.

You can try Gala sports at Queensway Shopping Centre. I got mine at $195. 3U version. But it is TH version if you dont mind

does anyone know why the price of the mp 88 are so far apart just because they are tdifferent in colors??? .om planin 2 get 1.
Well everything of the racket same expect colour. Lower price to clear stock i reckon. And because of this I have encountered shop that sells MP88 red at the same price as the current Blue at another shop as the cost is the same only colour.
the Chau Beng uncle at Queensway told me the price of the old model had gone back to 180 again.... haiz!
actually, i tot if it's 120... no harm trying mp88 even though i have mixed feelings about it... but since now the price is like that over at Chau Beng, my interest is killed off totally... haha.

it will be nice of the person to post the names of the shops that's selling at those prices... if it's uniformed across all shops, then put 'uniform pricing', so we don't have to compare prices at different shops...
Back in May, this thread was started with regard to the pricing of rackets in Singapore.... http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=15401&page=1&pp=18
