Good play from the Chinese. 4 straight points to 11-10, must be good psychologically. Feels like the Chinese are constantly on the attack. The Koreans almost only getting 1 smash opportunity with each attack...
The Chinese have good power and placement in their smashes. Many times fired into the middle. 3 game points to the Chinese.
The Koreans save one but weren't able to save a second. 21-18 to Jin Ma/Jinhua Tang. When will we see JJS at the sidelines? He was going to coach the Korea WD right?
Thanks, I read and mull over it before commenting. Offhand, I can only say that it's surprising that certain provinces/regions/municipalities are rewarding their CNG champions more than their Olympic champions.
I hope Wang Zhengming emulates LXR's never-say-die attitude and determined spirit no matter how tough the going gets, how tired he is. I wish to see him make a breakthrough, win or lose, show tremendous fighting spirit and willpower that will stand him in good stead in future.
It's time for Jan O Jörgensen and Wang Zhengming to decide who gets the last final spot. I would say I hold Jan O as the favorite considering that Wang Zhengming should perhaps be quite tired by now, otherwise I wouldn't have a clear idea who would win...
The way WZ gets his winners is quite spectacular. Feels like he really knows what he's doing and reads the game very well, feels strange when he sometimes makes a weird miss or choice. 11-7 WZ.
When WZM plays well, his shots/kills are very impressive. When he plays badly, his shots are worse than primary school kids.
WZM has a natural, flowing attacking game but his follow-up after the attack isn't too good and his defence isn't superb, and he sometimes play too many loose shots.
Jan O seems to have no answer to WZ. I would suggest that he starts to take more initiative. It's probably a bad idea to just react to whatever WZ is doing and letting him control the rally. WZ takes the first 21-13.
Really enjoyable to watch if WZM makes a successful kill. Hope he remains consistent till the end of the match.
From what I've gathered, Xia XZ seems to have a soft spot for WZM and keeps working on him, trying his best to bring out his fullest potential. Twenty-three years old already, when is he going to make it big, for a CHN player with his juniors snapping at his heels ?
