Hi. I'm wondering, when can I watch badminton on Astro Supersport? One day morning, I was out at a cafe, and I saw the TV in the cafe there showing a match (I guess it's Swiss Open, from the blue badminton court, but not sure. The match was between Hafiz and Hyun Il). I took note of the time, went back home, and checked my Astro Guide, but didn't see any badminton matches allocated at that time slot. Is it that they show badminton during intervals, when there is nothing to show? So does that mean I have to stick to the TV to know whether will there be a badminton match??? Or is there a way I can predict it? Thanks!
- Supersports is different from Star or ESPN, in Supersports all programs subject to change. One way is to check Website 1 week ahead, but then again cancellations 50 % likely. Another is to check EPC fro following day, definitely more reliable. What you saw was Dutch Open on Hari Raya, which was confirmed both on web and EPC. The week before website planned for repeat of HK open but cancelled it without notice. Sometimes they will fill in badminton in empty slots, so maybe you need to stay glued to the TV 24 hours.
If not because of Bbn, I would have missed the Dutch Open too. Thanks Bbn, may be you can continue to remind us once you find out any tournament on TV in the future? Thanks in advance! p/s: Any China or Taipei Open on Astro? I don't seem to find any
- Latest claim is live Copenhagen masters on 29/12/03 at 7.00 pm. Dont think Taiwan Open will ever be seen on Astro, never has. As for China Open you can buy vcds from People in China who taped it from cctv5.
Hi Bbn: Who're those people from China that have VCD of China Open for sale, can you provide contact info? Thanks
